Rated 5 out of 5?by Just moving in I am just moving into Canyon Creek. I chose it because of the beautiful apartments. They used trendy neutral paints instead of everything off-white. They have newer appliances and counter tops and I have a W&D in my unit. The staff was very helpful and responsive. The pool looks awesome. I have a parking spot right outside my apartment. There's a large "common room" with A/C, a large TV, free wi-fi and free coffee. It's close to Target and Costco yet feels pretty private. A great value. August 13, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5?by Don't waste your time! Canyon Creek is quite possibly the most incompetent apartment complex. Their staff consistently defer all issues to the property manager who seems to always be out of the office or on vacation. My husband and I lived there for over two years and had regular issues with their staff. From losing our packages, to not being able to answer questions, or losing repair requests. After moving out, we received our invoice stating what our refund would be. However, after over 6 weeks later (well beyond the 31 days required by oregon state law) we have not received our refund check. According to management, as usual, it was either lost in the mail or mailed to the wrong address (even though they also claim to have our correct address on file). This really sealed the coffin on the incompetence of the management of this property. The mold in these apartments is also a major problem that they try to ignore. We had to complain several times with documented photos to even receive a visit from facilities staff. All they were able to accomplish was reseal and paint over the mold, never mind addressing the issues that cause it. You could still see the moldy bumps underneath the paint. Also be prepared for a significant increase in your rent every year. Our first year living in these apartments, our rent went up $100 and $50 the following year. Just to be clear, that's a 20% increase over two years. That's ridiculous! Never mind the fact that all the apartments in Wilsonville apparently collude to jack up the prices for everyone, there is no way that the market rate jumped that much to justify a 20% increase in our rent. The one shining star of this place is the facilities maintenance crew. They are persistently positive and helpful and make the experience living here a little better. So thankful to not be living here anymore. When we receive our refund, whenever that is, I will be so glad to never have to deal with them again. December 18, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5?by New property owners do very poor quality service for residence. Let's start with signing the lease. When you don't know the background of a property it would be best to do your homework. I was to believe that this place was perfect and it was until new property owners took over the complex. Everything became expensive. Rent went up, they change the water company, noise level inside your apartment was so loud that you couldn't even hear yourself or the movie that you were watching. Outside the noise level during the daytime "only when it's not raining" is so loud and feels like lunch in the cafeteria in a pre-school. It's so depressing because you tell the staff every time it needs to be fixed and they just tell you, "We will handle the situation." I'm still here and ready to end my lease and will take future actions against the property owners. I hope as a consumer this was helpful to you because it's not worth it here. Take my word for it. Rated 1 out of 5?by Rude manager that are incapable of following through Poor management that lies about everything. There is garbage every where and poor communication skills on managers part. I don't complain about the mold because they will tell you it is your fault even though they found I don't have insulation in one wall. Which has not been fixed. My apartment has flooded twice, which they never told me when I moved in. If you're looking to move into a mold nightmare with management that is unwilling to get out of their office and fix anything I would suggest rent here. The corporate office will tell you the problem is not theirs and will tell you, you are the problem. Since the new management took over I have not gotten one thing fixed. Including the outside garbage that still overflows weekly. December 15, 2012
