Rated 2.6 out of 5?by 5 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5?by Long waiting list due to the lower rents Went to see 2 apartments that would be available in June & July. You meet with the Maintenance Manager because he does everything along with his wife. They collected $150.00 towards a credit check & application fee the problem was that after one week they said they had people ahead of us on a waiting list for the apartments. So the question I have is why did they bother to meet with us 2x, take a deposit, do a credit check to put us on a waiting list?? No thank you! We demanded our money refunded although they insist it is non-refundable. We got our money back because I called him out on the entire situation. June 30, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5?by Don't know what to expect When you go on site the off you have a hard time to find. When you call about the apartment listing and as availability no one answers and I don't like that you can't have a pet and a lot of people are pet owners April 2, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5?by This apartment community has reasonably rent! Greenfield has reasonably rent in the Patchogue area. Its very difficult to obtain an apartment because the availability is low. But once your in the community, your stress free on high rent. March 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5?by Been here many years... It has pros and cons, just like anywhere else. Pros: Easily accessible, right off the Sunrise svc road, within walking distance of 7-11 and Brookhaven hospital. The hallways and parking lots are cleaned daily of trash and debris, and the maintenance staff are very friendly. Management has been supportive of noise complaints or problem neighbors. The apartments are quite spacious for what you are paying when you compare it to other complexes. Every apartment is wood flooring. If you get a 2nd floor apartment, you are required per your lease to purchase your own carpeting to reduce noise. As they upgrade apartments, dishwashers are being installed. There are 2 washers and 2 dryers assigned to each "building", usable by a laundry card instead of cash. Plenty of closet space. Kitchens are very small, not a lot of counter space if you have more than 2 large items (a microwave and a toaster oven will take up all of your space). Cons: you can not call management. Everything is done through snail mail, and you never get a personal response. Every year instead of the rent going down or remaining the same, it has increased...no rebate for loyalty or long-term tenants - it'd be cheaper to move out and move back in every year than to renew your lease. In the winter, the parking lot is miserable...unless you can dig out your car yourself, expect to not go anywhere for a day or two after a snowfall. The ice on the walkways aren't maintained as well, so expect a few falls. During the summer, parents allow their children to run wild in the courtyard and around buildings with no supervision - since there is no playground for them, everything including the parking lot is their playground. Rated 1 out of 5?by Don't Move HERE!!! I spent one year in greenbrier apartments. Then I moved out may 2013. However, still waiting for my deposit back. I called them many times. They said we will send this week, but I have not received it yet. It is going to be almost 5 months, and they keep playing with me. What I have decided to do is that I will go to the court. I do not care how much money I will spend. They are not suppose to keep people's money for a long time. I advice you to think carefully before you move, because you will not be able to take your deposit back without going to court!!!!! September 17, 2013
