Rated 1 out of 5?by Don't move here These apartments are not worth the money. Most everything is remodeled, but not the sinks. The kitchen and bathroom sinks are very old, and are covered with soap scum and stains that cannot be removed. The kitchen sinks have an old non-working disposal that you are told not to use; or if you're like me, they will forget to tell you not to use it, and you'll eventually figure out its broken. I realized it was broken, when something awful and smelly sprayed up at my face from the other side of the sink. They raise the rent every year, which is non-negotiable. But they won't upgrade anything in your apartment to compensate for the rent increase. They won't upgrade this sinks at all. Maintenance is usually OK. But when my air conditioner broke on a heat warning day with 100+ degree day with high humidity, they came out to fix it, but couldn't finish fixing it until the next day. They left my apartment after the office was closed, and left me with no alternative cooling solution or alternate place to stay overnight, when the apartment was dangerously hot. When I went into the office to ask for some sort of break on my rent, for the inconvenience, and the fact that I didn't get any rest or sleep the entire night due to the extreme heat and discomfort, and ended up missing a half-day of work because of it, they automatically said "no" If you ever have an unexpected crisis: job loss,etc. that leads you to pay rent late, they will charge you cumulative daily charges not just on the rent, but also on the late fees. So basically you will pay late fees for not finishing paying the late fees, and this is also non-negotiable. The management staff here is nice, but they are not the ones who make the rules. They have to answer to the top managers at the main company, Banner, who obviously only care about making money. July 21, 2014
