Rated 1 out of 5?by Easy Problems Never Get Fixed There are a lot of things that are great about Gainesville Place. There are two bus routes that run through the complex, a nice pool area, decent gym, the rent is reasonable. However, the huge letdown is the maintenance and staff. I have lived here for a year and a half and so far they have changed my girlfriends locks without telling her literally 5 times. This has led to us getting locked out on more than one occasion. Then the complex didn't know which key was the new one, so we had to go check and then come back to get the correct key. They have also lost my roommates rent check twice leading to them getting charged $100 for their mistake. Finally, I have had an extremely loud and annoying beeping noise in my apartment for a week and a half now. I have contacted the office four times and so far absolutely nothing has been done. So, if you decide to live here you better hope you don't have any problems because they will not be fixed. I certainly wouldn't recommend this complex to anyone I know. September 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5?by Loved living here I lived here for all four years of my undergrad career and I am sad to say that I am leaving. I moved in my freshmen year with a friend of mine and we were match with two other roommates. They were awesome and we have all become lifelong friends. The only downside for me is the fact that it is a student only property and I have recently graduated and have to move on. If I return for grad school I will definitely live here again. I recommend this place to all my friends and my little brother will be moving in next fall. Thanks for the memories GP! April 17, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5?by Would not recommend Experience was overall sub-par. Actual units do not look at all like show. Serious roach problem. Worst part is that management does not work with you on issues you may be having, or with subleasing (they will actually charge you $300 to formally transfer the lease over). Unfair move-out charges. Runs more like a business than an apartment that cares about your experience with them. Would not recommend. October 7, 2013
