The location of this apartment complex is great. Grocery stores, restaurants, and the Summit Mall are all within 5-10 min of driving time. But pretty much everything else about this place is terrible. The walls are so thin that you can easily hear your neighbors. Roaches and bugs are everywhere at night. Maintenance takes weeks to fix major problems. Cars get towed for not parking perfectly within the lines.Office staff rarely answer phone calls.

I have lived at Stonecrest in a 2/2 for the past 10 months and cannot wait for my lease to end! While my actual apartment is nice, the complex, staff, and neighbors have gone downhill quickly.
Maintenance was supposed to replace the battery on my thermostat when I first moved in in July 2012, and to this day they are still 'waiting for the battery' to arrive.
The bathroom upstairs from me flooded into my bathroom, and the maintenance must have known because there was an air blower in my bathroom, yet the maintenance staff and front office did not answer their phone or respond to any of my 3 messages for two days to let me know what had happened, leaving me with wet carpet and rugs. Mind you I work full time during the day and I can't just run to the front office to speak to someone. It finally took 3 voicemails and 5 phonecalls before someone answered, and when confronted about the wet carpet and my ruined rugs, the girl at the front desk just shrugged it off.
Parking at my building is always an issue, and even though the staff has introduced a 'permit-only' policy, there are always vehicles that do not have a sticker by my building, and I often have to park down by the front office or another building.
There has been 4 different tenants in 1 apartment since I've been here (10 months).
There are kids that throw all of their trash on the stairs knock over people's trash cans, and squirt their drinks on people's doors (mine included). When I called the 'courtesy officer' around 5:45pm when this happened, they didn't answer, and didn't respond to my message until almost midnight (on a work night!).
Another issue living here, is there is no stoplight at the entrance of the complex so if you leave for work between 7:00am and 8:00am you have to wait several minutes before you can make a right turn out of the complex.
Overall I have been very disappointed with my experience at Stonecrest. I would say that the apartments inside are nice, but the maintenance, help, traffic, parking and neighbors counteract that.

I visited this property a week ago. I would definently have rented there however, they did not have a first floor 2x2 available for when I needed to move. The grounds were nice and clean and everyone in the office said hello. One of the maintance guys held the door open for me and even asked how my day was. I like to be greeted by such nice people. The lady that showed me around really new her stuff! She answered all of my questions and even gave me information I was not even thinking about. Wish I could have rented but seeing as how I must have a first floor I had to rent elsewhere. Maybe next year:)

I waited some time for the one consultant working the morning I went in- she was nice but very unprofessional. An existing tenant came in with an apparent problem and she just brushed her off in front of several potential new tenant. I won't want to be treated that way. Second turn off was the demo apartment was lived in by someone. The bathroom wasn't clean and had toothpast spots on the mirror and if that wasn't enough, the bed was a mess. A total disappointment!
