Smooth move-in experience. 30-minute parking for those coming into garage. However there may not be space with all those people trying to move in. Maintenance comes in relatively quickly. Staff are very nice.

Moving in has been one of the easiest things I've gone through and I was so scared cause it's my first apartment, first bills, and first by-myself-on-my-own time. Perfect for sophomores, nice amenities, close to bus stop and downtown restaurants and cafes. In unit laundry and dishwasher helped a lot and having it furnished made moving in and out much easier

It’s been great! There’s a spacious social lounge which consists of a siloed place to study as well as a large circular sofa which a huge TV. There’s also a lot of space in the rooms!

I love it here! I think that it's a very secure and safe community. As a student, I spend a lot of time studying in the study lounge and get free coffee! Would definitely recommend considering varsity to live at especially if you are a berkeley student.

I love my current apartment. The living room and kitchen area are welcoming and the bedroom is cozy. The bathroom is modern and tidy, and having a washer and dryer right here is a big plus. Staff is very friendly and always gets thing done on time.

It's a great apartment but the elevators haven't been working properly. Also, maybe due to the on going construction but the hallways are sometimes sticky.

My stay at Varsity has been a relatively smooth one. The only true issue that has arisen is the lack of cellular service on the first floor. I imagine this is because we are sandwiched between skyrises.

I enjoy living at varsity. The building is very clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I have submitted maintenance requests and they have fulfilled my request super fast! The staff hosts fun events for the residents which I love!

The apartments provides a nice and homey environment. The location is close to bus stops and the Bart station, which makes it easy to get around and get to campus. I enjoy the drinks machine, particularly the hot chocolate, the board games in the lounge, and the rooftop!

The Varsity is a decent, but pretty expensive option for student housing. It has a good location: very close to several bus lines and a short walk to bart, as well as a relatively short walk to campus. The rooftop garden is really nice when the weather is good. Although there are many events organized by the building, there is not a particularly strong community amongst residents. The area can also be quite noisy at times.

The building looks nice, and the officers are also very kind too. I'm excited to live over there. The neighborhood is also perfect for me; I think it's the best place to live in the Berkeley area. I hope being a resident here will be a good experience, and I hope I can make new neighbor friends who go to the same school.

The apartment community is very inclusive, and everyone is so kind in the elevators. Great managing of community events too. The study rooms are also great for connecting with others.

This place is really well kept and has a lot of anemities when there's no inherent need to but it really helps with the atmosphere. The staff is nice and responsive and nothing ever felt like it was getting out of hand
Throughout the spring semester, one thing that once again stuck out to me was the fast turnover between maintenance requests and actual maintenance. I also enjoyed the occasional social food-based activities that Varsity hosted.

Rent is expensive, but the staff are nice and maintenance is very quick. Many of the amenities like the lounge, free printing, free coffee, and in-unit laundry provide a comfortable living experience. However, it was difficult to navigate the frequently-broken elevator with a leg injury that prevented me from climbing stairs easily.

Super exceptional staff as well as fast replies to inquiries. Facilities are pretty clean as well as safe. Package delivery is also quick and clean.Would love to rent under them again!

I have lived at Varsity for two years now and it has been a really great experience. The staff are very friendly and always available to help you with anything you might need and the building has a number of wonderful amenities that make it a great place to live. It's close enough to campus, BART, and the general Downtown Berkeley Area which makes it a perfect place for students!

The staff is incredibly accommodating and the events that they host are fun! The amenities and rooftop views cannot be beat! Especially with the corn hole and ping pong table on the roof ?? the lounge is the perfect place to get work done

I lived here for a year with my roommate and the building and unit helped make it a good experience. The appliances and layout are nice with plenty of room. The building is secure and in a convenient location to school, restaurants, and parks. It's central and we had people over all the time. There were a couple maintenance issues during our stay and management took care of them quickly.
It is located in a wonderful neighborhood different authentic s surrounded by nice parks and everything is in walking distance it feels like a home you would never leave also near train station and public transportation
