Property Ratings at Zone Westgate
Zone Westgate has offered a great living experience so far. I have felt safe, well responded to, and like my expectations as a resident have been met thus far.

We always strive to provide top quality service to every guest, and are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your experience here at Zone Westgate!
Management implemented a new faulty system that doesn’t always take payments when you go online and pay rent. We paid the rent, and it was confirmed, but payment was never taken so our rent was marked as late. The apartment complex charged us over $200 in late fees for a a KNOWN issue out of our control. Several tenants have complained about the system, yet are still being charged late fees for it. Office staff admitted that the company and owners know about the issue, but are still charging the late fees and refusing to waive them. They refused to remove the late fees, even though the rent was late because of an issue caused by the system they use. This is such a disappointing and shady business practice and I am second guessing my decision to live here.

Hi - I'm so sorry to hear your experience didn't meet your expectations (or our standards), and one of us will get in touch directly to see what we can do to make it right.
Been here for 5 years first 2-3 was amazing maintenance was great parking was plenty even when the place was full. Now they have extra fees parking is horrible and maintenance takes forever. Game days and events are hard to get in and out of here . The office staff is super friendly and helpful with everything. Updated gym is nice and love the pool .

Hi there - we're thrilled to hear you had such a great experience! Thanks again for taking some time to about your visit to Zone Westgate. Be well!
If you enjoy being woken up in the middle of the night by loud parties, inconsiderate neighbors, or trash music. This is the apartment for you! You’ll love feeling terrible during the middle of the day because of the lack of sleep you got the night before. Management is so kind that they even provide a “24 hour” security service. I can assure you they are happy to answer your call. Whether they come to your rescue is another thing, but I’m sure you’ll be fine. 10/10 stars for no sleep!

I have absolutely loved living at Zone Westgate! The close vicinity to restaurants at Westgate and games and events at State Farm Stadium has been amazing! I’ve recommended this apartment complex to everyone I know and am so sad to be leaving.

Hey - what a lovely thing to say! We appreciate you so much. Can't wait to see you again. Take care!
Very clean community. So much to do around this property. My daughter first appartment and Melissa was so kind. She walked her through the process and made the move seamless.

First place I’ve ever lived. Since zone has taken over the property it has been nothing but trouble they literally don’t answer their phones ignore their emails when you bring up issues on Instagram because that’s the only way to get through they block you. Took over 30 days to return security deposit. Brand new apartment falling apart mushrooms growing out of walls 3 inch gaps under doors. Incompetent and rude staff wish we could move worst place ever!!!

Hello, We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. Please contact our office directly at zonewestgate@avenue5apt.com or via phone at 623.877.5100.
We have lived at this property for almost five years. During that time, we were unable to get almost anything fixed properly. Now that the property has been sold and new management has taken over, the entire complex is getting a much needed and overdue makeover. For the first time since we moved in, there is a sense of pride from the staff. One of the first items the staff tackled was safety within the complex by ensuring people were no longer parking in designated fire lanes, which made it difficult to squeeze through with your vehicle sometimes and at night it was especially dangerous since cars were parked in the wrong direction and hard to see. Currently renovations of apartments, leasing office, poolside and landscaping are underway to make the living experience even more desirable. They have started to include food trucks on site multiple times per month with the chance to get your meal for free as well as a Wine Down Wednesday, for example, to relieve some stress and meet other residents. More fun events are on the monthly calendar. Of course, all these changes are bound to come with some inconveniences, the end-result will be well worth it, and the management team is working hard to make this transition as smooth as possible. The manager, Crystal, takes time to listen to your concerns and seems passionate about making the property an overall better living environment. Brianna, the assistant manager as well as Cici, the leasing agent, are both very professional, helpful, and caring and they respond quickly to emails and calls. The maintenance staff of James, Robert, and Kelly are knowledgeable and work hard to ensure repairs are done quickly and correctly. Robert has even gone the extra mile when responding to our apartment by bringing booties to wear because he overheard me discussing my concerns while I was in the office. James goes out of his way to take care of whatever maintenance needs to get done regarding the apartment, including the garage. While we have read many negative reviews about Zone Westgate, most of those are about the previous management and ownership (Pillar at Westgate). They are most definitely not a reflection of the great team that is currently representing Zone Westgate. THANK YOU to the entire team at Zone Westgate!

Greetings User, Thanks so much for taking the time to share your positive experience! We're always happy to help so don't hesitate to contact us if you ever need anything. Our goal will always be to provide the best experience and we love knowing yours was no different. See you soon!
The only good thing about this terrible place is the location. If you love never having a maintenance person aid your apartment while also having pathetic front desk workers this is the place for you!! Rude and unhelpful employees is the only 5 star aspect of this apartment complex. Not to mention the amenities promised from the beginning are a lie. Gym keys were never provided to us and we were told we would have to pay for replacements when we moved out. Garage and complex gate openers didn't work and when givin replacements... still didn't work. Price you pay to live here is way too high. Online pictures look great, incredibly deceiving. Don't fall for the tour that takes you through the by far nicest place they have to offer. Rent here should be half of what it is. Seriously consider living elsewhere.
The wife and I moved into pillar at Westgate in mid December. Our penthouse apartment is unique. Three levels with a loft on level 3. 25 foot ceiling 2nd level. Huge windows with a view of the Cardinals stadium. Adjacent to Westgate entertainment district. Absolutely love the location. Management and maintenance are top notch. They have addressed all of our concerns in a timely manner. If everything remains status quo, we plan to stay here a long time.
Pillar at Westgate is an amazing apartment complex located directly next to West Gate entertainment plaza. Its got an great night life scene with several bars within walking distance. The Pillar at westgate staff is amazing, they're always a phone call away to answer to any of your needs. Pillar at westgate offers unrivaled luxury at an affordable price.
I like the apartment building over all but, What I would however request is a more up-to-date thermostat that's more user-friendly. And for the luxury appeal it is supposed to represent, the pool areas should have a shaded cover for the enjoyment of the pool during the hotter months. It is though, a quiet place mostly ( when there is not a game) and the rest is live play appeal/atmosphere. Walking to shop isn't bad either, and there are more businesses coming soon.
I have been at Pillar for two years (since Jul 2013) and I love it! Office staff is always super friendly, as well as the maintenance staff. I also love the fact that I have a garage and that it is walking distance from Westgate, Gila River Arena, and Cardinals Stadium. :)
Welcome to the excitement of luxury apartment living! Step into the apartment you've made YOUR OWN. Enjoy meal preparation with extra cabinet space, modern black appliances including dishwasher and microwave oven. Not yet ready to retire to ample sized bedroom/bath with doubled mirrored sliding closet doors, larger oval tub/shower combo? Why not workout in our 24hr gym filled with the latest equipment to get your blood flowing and those muscles glowing! Just in time to wind down pool side. Enjoy family and friends with relaxing loungers and cooling large umbrellas to beat the summer sun. Too early to relax? Make it a long night! We are within walking of the famed Westgate restaurants and shopping venues as well as the University of Phoenix Stadium, home of the 2015 Super Bowl game. Come by today to view our 1 to 3 bedroom models...there is one just for you!
The staff when I visited were nice. Have a decent tour but the grounds were not cared for like I personally needed them to be. Upon entering the gym area there was a dead roach sitting just outside if the door way. I have very strong aversion to bugs so its very important to me that the grounds and apartments are as bug free as possible. This was not ok for me The floor plans were nice though.
I moved in over 2 years ago and have been in a one bedroom and two bedroom and each one has been wonderful! The staff has always helped me no matter how new they were, they always seem to know how to assist me. I had a parking issue but it was quickly taken care of and as for now I don't plan on going anywhere until I purchase a home!
I have lived in multiple apartments and this is by far the worst place i have ever lived. The staff is very unfriendly, management is terrible and they will never work with you on anything. if i can give anyone advice do not move here!!!!!!!!
