Maintenance team is a 10! To be honest, I didn’t have much faith that my needs would be met in a timely manner living in an apartment .Ive heard horror stories from other’s experiences. I would like to thank York Plaza’s maintenance team for going above and beyond. I had low water pressure but didn’t complain but then the kitchen faucet started to have a slow leak and I could get cold water( I think it was stripped and it was very old so it had been around long before I moved here) I placed a request and again didn’t have high expectations. While I was out they came in to not only repair it….they replaced it. I actually cried! It felt so good to have them know when you upgrade an old faucet when it couldn’t be fixed. Tears of joy of course ????

Apartment living I was a homeowner for the last 20 years, so I’m used to having to fix things on my own or know who to call. I wasn’t sure if needing something here would be priority or quickly maintained or if I would have to wait for a long time. I had a couple issues that I put in a maintenance request for and again I received same day service. I’m grateful for the prompt care and the comfort that brings with this transition. Bravo to the team!

Good and Bad The new faucet was installed and I was shown how to use it. Everything was put back under my sink. However I discovered later that the tech had neglected to replug my dishwasher into the back wall under my sink. Being elderly I was barely able to accomplish this on my own and strained my back trying to do it.

Every other morning from 7:00 am to 8:00 am they cut grass. The noise is insane (I live on the south part of the property). This is crazy! And by 8:00 am they are done. From 7:00 am to 8:00 – such a poor management!!! You have all day to do it! Start at 9:00 am, 10:00 am like every normal property. Respect tenants, give residents some rest, some of them working late and want to sleep at least until 9:00 am.
York Plaza is beautiful pet-friendly complex, well cared for and built very solidly - very hard to find this quality of construction these days. You cannot hear your neighbors much due to the way these buildings are constructed. We enjoy large and spacious apartments on beautiful park like grounds including a beautiful courtyard with picnic tables and gas grills. The complex sits on the Edina Promenade that hosts guest artist sculptures rotated frequently that we walk our dog daily on and we enjoy the water features as well. The amenities are also a fantastic package including a large spacious club house to entertain larger groups, 2 pools - indoor and outdoor, sauna, steam, workout facilities underground parking, and lovely, lovely landscaping everywhere you look. We wake up every day to flowers, trees and acres of green grass. The maintenance and office staff are always responsive and fast. We are close to everything -- airport, downtown, shopping, restaurants and the walkability factor is huge. Love living here, we feel blessed every day.
We love our new home! We are close to everything. The building is quiet and well kept up. It was the best choice we could have made.
