Situated on the northern banks of the James River, across the Hampton Roads Harbor from Norfolk, Newport News has been shaped by the water that surrounds it. Some of the major attractions in Newport News include access to beaches, ships, and one of the largest maritime museums in the world.

Property Ratings at Woods of Jefferson
I can honestly say that, I been only living here for about 6 months and it have been lovely. The front office are very respectful and always answer my questions when I have one. Maintenance is good when I need something fix they get right on it. The neighborhood I will say out of a 10 it's about a 8, and the only reason why I say that because, it is a pet friendly neighborhood and some people don't like to pick up there dog mess. Other then that I have no complaints.
