Most people are familiar with Princeton as the home of one of America’s top universities, and that is certainly a huge part of the community’s overall character. Princeton University brings museums, performance centers, sporting events, beautiful architecture, and an enormous degree of intellectual capital to the broader community. The academic excellence extends into the public education system as well, with the local schools earning top marks.
Numerous public parks and Carnegie Lake provide terrific venues for residents to get outdoors, and the Nassau Street downtown district is a great area to explore on foot. New York City and Philadelphia are both easily reachable within ninety minutes, and the beaches of the Jersey Shore are only about an hour to the east.

Property Ratings at Woodmont Way - West Windsor
Like many others, we find the location to be a commendable aspect of this community. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. This property offers nothing special, yet demands prohibitively high rents, often padded with frequent, miscellaneous charges on the lease invoice. A particularly galling example is the $75 fee for simply leaving a recycling bag outside our door for a couple of hours prior to pick up by the valet service, citing a "fire hazard,” while permanent decor outside other doors goes unaddressed. Security is also a significant concern, with packages routinely stolen and even bikes stored inside the building reported missing. Our son’s $400 bike was stolen from the bike storage room and all the leasing office had to say was that it is our problem and we should follow up with local law enforcement. To compound these issues, the leasing office staff, most notably Assistant Manager Jessica, is rude, condescending, passive-aggressive, and shockingly unprofessional. Renewing our lease was a decision we deeply regret, and we genuinely cannot wait to move out of this community.
I am a resident of this apartment for a year and due to the high turnover of the staff, some of the issues have not been properly addressed and I am extremely disappointed. Upon checking in last year, I mentioned to the staff that I have two service animals, and was told by the manager as well as the staff at that time that the pet deposit and the monthly fee would be refunded to me when I present those documents. I presented the document a few months later and the assistant manager took my document and did not leave any record. When I re-visited this topic again, they claimed that they could not find the record. So I resubmitted the document (medical letter) for service dogs per their request, and the latest feedback was that they could not refund the pet deposit to me. The irony is that the original staff member offered to waive all the pet deposit when I checked in, but I was kind enough to said that charge me for one dog and when I returned with the document, then you can waive the fees. They said Yes, and yet until now, I did not have the deposit returned to me and still being charged monthly for the pet fee. After all these effort on communication and being a diligent resident, I am disappointed on how I am being treated as a decent human being.
This place is very nice, i wished i had read the reviews regarding the noise level in these units. Its absolutely ridiculous. It sounds as if your neighbors are having a party over your head everyday.... If you dont mind loud noises- move here; but for the cost of living in this community- they could do better
I have recently moved here and have had nothing but a great experience so far. The leasing office answered all my questions, the move in went flawlessly, and my neighbors are friendly. The complex itself is kept clean, as well as the pool and gym. I am extremely happy and I highly recommend Woodmont Way!
Since before moving in until now, the leasing office has been unresponsive and unprofessional. They do not follow through with what they say and do not respond to tenant complaints. Before renting here, carefully consider that the entire apartment has hard floors and even though tenants are supposed to have carpets or rugs, no one checks to make sure that this is the case. You can hear your neighbors clearly and they can hear you. In short, the apartments are not built well and there is no privacy at all.
