Located 40 miles southwest of Atlanta, Newnan welcomes residents with historic architecture and tree-lined streets in a city known as the "City of Homes." The community preserves an impressive collection of antebellum buildings that survived the Civil War, when the city served as a hospital center. Today, the housing landscape includes everything from restored Victorian homes in the historic district to contemporary apartment communities near Ashley Park shopping center. The rental market remains steady with average one-bedroom apartments renting for $1,455, showing a modest 1.7% increase over the past year, while two-bedroom units average $1,595 monthly.
The developing LINC trail network connects neighborhoods to downtown, while parks like C.J. Smith Park and Carl Miller Park offer outdoor recreation spaces. Downtown's historic courthouse square features locally-owned shops and restaurants housed in preserved 19th-century buildings.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It’s wonderful to hear that their hard work and commitment have made such a strong impression and that you feel confident recommending Woodland Commons. Your feedback means a lot to us.
There has been three different management teams in the last ten months and its difficult to accomplish anything as a tenant. On top of that maintenance is extremely poor. A couple months ago I submitted two online work order one for the broken dishwasher that does not drain and today that work or was marked as resolved without any work accomplished and the resolution stated they replaced a rack inside the dishwasher. The second work order was for two stove tops that do not work and it was marked as resolved with the resolution being they replaced the drip pans. Clearly neither resolution would had corrected the actual problem. No idea why they close work order without actual work being done and the resolutions have nothing to do with the actual problem. Now I recently turned in my notice that I was not renewing my lease so maybe the property management felt they do not need to fix these issues even though my lease is current thru Sept 2023.

Property Manager at Woodland Commons, Responded To This Review
We're blushing over how kind your review on Woodland Commons is! Our team is delighted that you're enjoying our community and that Kristin and Kamare, have left such a positive impression on you and your loved ones. We hope you continue to enjoy our community for many years to come.
I've been living in these apartments since April 2015 and needless to say I will not be renewing my lease. The apartments are nice, the community, for the most part, is kept clean, however they have one fatal flaw that I can't over look. The management is more concerned about doing nothing than getting involved when there are problems between tenants. They have a no weight limit pet policy, which is part of why we got this apartment because my husband and I have a large breed dog. We were not put on a ground floor, so we had neighbors beneath us and for months, they had caused us issues because of our dog making noise, normally just from walking, at night. They would call the cops on us and on our dog sitter whenever they thought we were being too loud and would accost me whenever they'd see me outside of my apartment, yelling at me because I have a dog that will walk around at night. Since August we had been requesting to move to a ground unit so that we wouldn't have this issue and the management has refused to do anything regardless of the fact that I was being harassed outside my unit, because this place is not a home, to the point where I didn't feel comfortable stepping outside to take my dog out. A few weeks ago, things got so bad while I was doing laundry, they kept banging on the ceiling, thus scaring my dog and making him run away from the sound. The long and short of it was the neighbor screaming at me, threatening me, and eventually assaulting me. The morning after, I went to talk to the people in the office, and have since, yet to hear from them except to tell us when rent's due. When my husband asked them about moving us to a new unit after that incident, the management said they didn't want to until they were sure our dog wouldn't bark. I have tried to contact the regional manager of the company, but thus far no luck. I have never lived somewhere where the simple act of walking around illicits such a response from neighbors below me that I don't feel safe or comfortable in the place that should be my home. I've never lived anywhere that has had staff that is more concerned about a tenant's dog barking, news flash, that's what dog's do, and I have a bark collar so he doesn't bark, than they are concerned about a tenant harassing and assaulting another tenant.
I and my wife have been living in Park Manor for close to a year now and we like it here. Here are the list of things we like about Park Manor 1. The management team is very helpful and friendly. They make genuine effort to make Park Manor a safe and friendly place to live in. 2. The maintainance team is very prompt in responding to the issues and service requests. Good resolution. 3. Approx. 10 mins drive away from Ashley Park which has good shopping and dining options. 4. They take note of the improvements suggested by the residents and take measures accordingly 5. Very reasonable rent and the apartment is quite spacious
