Tucked in the northwest corner of Cook County, suburbs such as Hoffman Estates, Palatine, South Barrington and Schaumburg vary widely in personality and composition. Schaumburg, the largest in population, is home to Ikea and Woodfield Mall, the largest mall in the Chicago area. Palatine, developed on a wooded marshland, comes in at a close second in size. Hoffman Estates, while smaller, is the most densely populated of the four suburbs and is home to AT&T's Midwest headquarters and Sears Holding Corporation. South Barrington, tiny in comparison, and arguably the most affluent in the area, is home to the famous mega church, Willow Creek Community Church.
Heavy traffic can double or triple commute times, so area locals know to check the highway reports before leaving home. Normal drive time into the city from this area is about 30 minutes via the Interstate 90 tollway. An easy 20 minute drive will take residents to O'Hare International Airport.

Changes in flyers are needed.. Elderly don't use emails at all or not regularly. . Handicapped rails are non-existent. No accessibility in any unit.

Management has been rude and unprofessional. We have been dealing with mold issues in our unit for 4 months now and the only thing Tom tells us is that we can break our lease free of charge. Clearly they don’t take care of their units as they should and just paint over everything. We got the village involved thankfully and they are finally starting to do their job and take responsibility. But I would never recommend this place to anyone

I truly love it here. This place is a great place to live. Close to everything and love that there is a gym and pool. Also you don’t hear your neighbor's. This place is expensive but worth it.

Woodbury Place apartments are really nice apartments. The community is beautiful and quiet. Most of all Tom and the 2 beautiful young ladies there at the office are amazing and sweet people.

I'm sorry to say, I can not recommend Woodbury as a good place to live. Our rent has gone up hundreds of dollars in the last 4 years. The manager will give you a new lease with no mention of the increase, and say they have no way to control it, it is simply "the algorithm". Don't move here unless you plan on only staying a year or two. The first year was ok, then things got progressively worse. You will have a hard time saving for the future when squirrels start chewing on your car's gas tank and engine, as has happened to both my husband and myself. TLC is impossible to reach on the phone. They do not call you back. I am guessing this review will get their attention, because they care more about reputation than taking care of good tenants. It is a really sad situation. God bless.

I absolutely love living here. My overall experience has been great. Safe place to live..clean and friendly doggy park. Staff goes above and beyond to shovel / salt our front door and parking lot. I am incredibly happy living here.

I’ve lived here for 7 months now. Staff is very friendly and most of the time happy to help. Large living room and balcony space is amazing. The only negative thing I could possibly say is the parking is always full, they’ve tried everything to fix it but I always have to park further away.

Maintenence is quick to come "look", but take forever to take action. I have to prey on them and even so, they'll fix one thing and still leave other things pending. Management follows up but doesnt follow thru. Very unfortunate. Heat and AC do not reach bedrooms. You'll freeze in the winter and roast in the summer while sleeping. Cleanliness of hallways, laundry room and stairs is poor, seems its only done once a week if that. They encourage to report any issues but for example I reported the dryer in the building and it still hasnt been fixed. They should be showing the actual apartment they intend to rent not just the model.

I have nothing but good things to say about Woodbury Place. I had a good vibe as soon as I walked in the main office. Lindsey is the person who helped me with my apartment. Maintenance and office staff are always very nice and response to concerns is very timely. Really really wish they would recycle though. Loitering in parking lot and on premises has been reduced and that has been nice.
