Property Ratings at Woodacres Apartment Homes
Absolutely miserable leasing experience with incompetent leasing staff that cannot get it together. To sum it up quickly: They lie about when the units are available. They lie about when you can see the units before signing the lease. They lie about the amenities on their site, to your face, AND in writing and will gaslight you when you call them out and show proof. Your rental info is bounced between multiple leasing staff that will "lose" your email so you have to stay on top of them to make sure they do the job they're paid to do. READ YOUR LEASE AND KNOW YOUR RIGHTS. They will try to tack on fees that aren't in the lease hoping you don't catch on. Protect yourself. They are playing around with people's shelter and it's a shame. At the end of the day these people get to sleep, wake up, and make someone else's experience miserable while not caring if their mistakes leaves them without a roof over their head. 2 stars because of the value for the rent.

I'm so grateful for Karol and the property manager. My process has been nothing but pleasant. There were a few things that I needed to be fixed in my new home and the Maintenace team has been phenomenal with getting things done for me quickly in a timely manner. Karol has been welcoming and has gone far and beyond to make my home and experience wonderful. She has made sure my son and I are happy in our new home. The staff has been truly extraordinary, outstanding and remarkable. I look forward to making here my home for years to come. Thank you all :)

The move in was smooth except the key for the front door was giving me a hard time every else good the apartment was clean it was parking right in front of the door to get some of my things moved in

Cute little neighborhood with nice neighbors. So happy to live here! The apartment is clean and nice no bugs despite how many apartments there are which is really great. A nice escape from the city.

Move in was quick. Leasing office was nice. For my actual apartment, I would rate it a 3.5/5. Apartments were well lit outside with security cameras, so I felt pretty safe.

The people who work in the office are very rude, they don’t answer emails, they block your phone number if you have a really difficult complaint. For example just recently we had teenagers breaking into our building and smoking weed and cigarettes in the hallway. They lit a small patch of carpet on fire which potentially could have been horrible. Our rent went up to have a key fob to get in front and back for almost 2 years now and our back door is still the number pad entry. This is just one of many MANY issues.

It has be a good experience so far moving into woodacres apartments in Claymont, DE. My apartment was well kept and put together. I did have to deep clean some areas but that can be expected. There was a pre-existing problem with the door scanners to get into buildings that I had to navigate but was able to get it figured out. Staff is very communicative and helpful.

This is the best place I have lived in a while. Nice and clean, always somewhere to park and very friendly and inviting neighbors. Nice space in my apartment and my children are adjusting nicely. I was worried about them going from a house to a an apartment but it has been great so far. It's been very hot outside so we didnt get a chance to explore the whole area yet but my children and I love it so far. Its close to everything we need. The management team in the office are wonderful people. (Rahiem and Ms Regina) awesome and very helpful. I would tell people to come here to live in a heartbeat

My apartment at Longview is great! There are no issues other than my previous dissatisfaction with the laundry facilities because the washers/dryers were not working. But, MP recently opened a new laundry facility that is much better and works great! Great, spacious place to live!

This place is everything that I’ve wanted in an apartment and more. Regina was super helpful throughout the whole process. Now that I’m all moved in and settled, I could not be happier. Neighbors are quiet. All appliances work. Always a place for me to park when I come home from work at night. Trash is only picked up on Mondays so the dumpster is full a majority of the time, but other than that, this place checks all the boxes!! I love my new home :)

There are no working laundry rooms! I have made multiple maintenance requests, and they have not been addressed regarding this issue. On a good day, there is only 1 washer and dryer that work in the only working laundry room on the property. If you do not have a washer and dryer in your unit, don't expect to be able to do laundry in the laundry rooms.

I love it here at Woodacres. The location is perfect. It’s close to grocery stores, pharmacies, and most importantly coffee! Maintenance is nothing short of amazing. They respond within the hour! The gym is also amazing. Staff is super friendly.

I love living here. The people who work here truly care. I had a problem in my apartment which required me having to leave my apartment for a few days. They were concerned for us, reassured us everything would be fine and protected our property. I can’t say enough good things.

The apartments, much like many, are over priced. Very out dated, doesn’t have a garbage disposal, washer/dryer, or modern appliances. The laundry areas on site are run down and barely ever work. Office doesn’t care. I told a maintenance man about a down spout being disconnected and possibly flying off and causing damage to cars or people and it’s been at least 2 weeks and nothing done. The apartment above me has a washer/dryer and over a year ago they had a leak which caused significant water damage to my ceiling, The solution weeks later was to paint over it. No one came to check for mold only to paint. I refused the paint and insisted on having it cut out, checked for mold, and replaced. I was told that there was no mold ( no one checked). It’s been over a year and the damage has never been resolved. The trash area is always over flowing. It’s and eye sore and smelly on warm days. The only positive is the location is nice to get to just about anywhere easily.

This apartment complex is nice. It's quiet, and we can hardly ever hear our neighbors. Parking is nice and accessible. The units themselves are pretty nice, but definitely could use a little bit of a refresh. The downfalls honestly come from the leasing office. There's been multiple attempts to reach out to them regarding issues to which you'll almost never hear back unless you go to the office itself. The laundry facilities constantly have issues and 2/3 are now closed for renovations that we've never been given any updates about after them being closed for 3 weeks now. The washers and dryers are incredibly old and never seem to dry even the smallest loads in one go so I'm hoping new machines is part of the whole renovation process. You're limited in options if you want to change a thermostat as well. We were told Amazon lockers would be available upon move in and here we are 7 months later and no lockers. The communication when it comes to renovations is incredibly poor.

Rental office staff are really nice. Maintenance staff are on point and on time with fixing things. My building is very quiet, our neighbors are pleasant and nice ??. The lawncare company do a wonderful job taken care of the property, even when it’s early in the morning when I’m sleeping lol.

Apartment complex is relatively dirty with many features that need to be replaced, fixed or maintained (broken mailbox, front doors, missing screens, broken floor heaters, appliances, water heater).

This is my first apartment - It isn't bad, but I also don't have anything to compare it to. Maintenance is always friendly. The dog park is cute and I enjoy how much natural light I get inside.

It's ok. I love how close it is to convenience stores, i.e., Wwa, gas stations, home repair store, fast food, Pharmacy, I-95, supermarkets, restaurants, Dart bus line, etc.

The place is safe however people leave trash around the complex. They also don't throw the trash in the dumpster even though they are not full. People don't pick up their dogs poop.
