I have lived here for 33 years. As gray star took over, this place went downhill very quickly. There is no concern from the owner, the management team has their hands tied. I understand that so unfortunately the owner is a penny, pincher and doesn’t care about the aesthetics or assisting his residence. The management team is always professional, caring, but I understand That they have to go through all kinds of red tape with the owner to approve anything. I would like my stove replaced to what it was before. I have suggested even paying out-of-pocket to have a stove that has a self cleaning oven and a clock and timer apparently that is not something that has been accepted. The owner needs to be made aware that he is creating paying little or no money for things, then the maintenance team is on overload because cheap things break and Pennywise, pound foolish is what the motto of the owner of this place should have on his desk

Wood Creek Apartments is a beautiful community with a serene atmosphere. The landscaping, tall trees, and peaceful water features make it feel like a retreat. The pool area is well-maintained and a great perk to have close by. I really appreciate the private garages. Another big plus is that larger pets are welcome, which is hard to find in many communities. My move-in experience exceeded my expectations, with everything in excellent condition. Most importantly, the staff here is fantastic. They’re attentive, helpful, and genuinely care about the residents. I worked primarily with Yami, who exhibited the highest level of service in her field. Overall, living here has been a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend Wood Creek Apartments to anyone looking for a great place to call home.

Living at Wood Creek is an excellent experience. I especially love the many ponds in the community which are always kept in impeccable condition. Service requests are also replied to reliably and promptly.

This is our 4th year with Woodcreek Apartments in Pleasant Hill California. We have been living here 2 years before Covid, left due to financial issues then came back 2 years ago. This complex is very poorly ran the apartments are in terrible condition maintenance staff doesn’t do the work they close repair orders with out doing any type of work gardeners never come out to clean up the property it’s disgusting and I have had ants in my apartment almost since I moved in and haven’t had any luck getting them removed this place sucks

The office does not respond in a timely manner. They close out repair orders when there has been no communication on how or why it was closed. The issues continue to happen and the office puts in the least amount of effort and begins to ignore the residents that have continual problems. Would never recommend anyone to live here.

Woodcreek used to be somewhere I disnt mind living. With drastic rent increases, no open parking. I have been considering moving before lease renewal. Appearance within the community has went down. Open projects not completed from when I moved Here.

I can't lie - of course we love positive reviews, but your honesty gives us the chance to improve, so many thanks to you for taking the time to share!
When we first moved in we thought it was great, more space with having a garage, everyone seemed really nice in the community but as we settled and time went by everything changed. The maintenance , it takes for ever to get a service call, you have to repeatedly request for someone to come and look and then it takes them months to fix it. Constantly having to take time out of your day to go to the leasing office, because they do not answer the phone. I was told that they don't have enough man power to take care of each call and you'll just have to wait! Toads in the summer: since there is masses of water, starting in March frogs come and croak all through the night until end of the summer Pools: Last summer the hot tubs and pool were out of service for a majority of the summer, and now there is an early restriction of the pool time. Parking: After signing our lease with no fee for parking and there was open spots for all cars to park, they are changing their policy to a paid parking system, and there are not enough spots for all apartments and not have any guest parking with limed street parking in the area. Save your self the trouble and don't be fooled by the pretty trees, and what it looks like, the apartments are outdated with high rents and customer service is the worse!

When we moved out here two years ago, we really enjoyed the Responsive service from the leasing office and the maintenance staff to deal with any small issues we might’ve had and now it’s all gone downhill. It takes weeks for maintenance to come and fix anything to use the guise That they are understaffed to take 2 to 3 weeks just to get to you. And now one of the benefits of living here was the additional parking spots available to us are now being taken hostage by them unless we pay an additional fee. They took away our pool and promised a dog park months ago and they yet to do anything so now if we want to go to the pool, we have to walk three blocks to get to it. If I was you I just stay away

We moved to Wood Creek and fell in love. It’s such a beautiful, picturesque and peaceful community. The neighbors are friendly and the staff does an awesome job addressing any needs we have, which are very little. We are so happy we found Wood Creek!

Wood Creek is a peaceful community where it is great to relax by nature. Yes you might encounter a couple more bugs because of said nature but it is completely normal. My living experience is for the CedarWood style floor plan: Structures are getting up in age so the only thing is that maintenance must be increased to mitigate bigger problems with the buildings. Window fixtures are old and do not seal, glass panels are thin and not efficient at all. Appliances are also a little bit older, but they function as they should so no big deal. Sinks/faucets could use an update or replacement but that may just be my own case. Good news is that the decks/balconies are spacious and the trees give a sense of natural privacy, the ponds and fountains really make you feel like you’re in a peaceful garden. Plenty of walkable areas for taking pets out to exercise. Parking is a bit of an issue but it’s still way better than other areas in the SF bay. Garages are a really nice option but they often require thorough cleaning by pressure washer to get grime and residue off of concrete.

I love this community and the team that is providing services with a heart in fact I am a returning tenant. We lived here 2018 to 2020 we just moved out because of Covid, we can’t afford the rent since we lost our jobs, now we are back to enjoy this community.

Great location, responsive staff, nice room configuration. We're in a townhouse layout with a private courtyard, a patio, a balcony, 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a private 2 car garage, and are greatly enjoying it. Take a tour to see what I mean.

Beautiful cozy home surrounded by trees, ponds and trails. Pet friendly, quiet and inviting environment. Easy access to everything you would want, including freeways to get around quickly! Management are friendly, very helpful and great personalities!!

Wood Creek's setting is pleasant and the location convenient, but the property is poorly maintained. The "creek" that runs along our building has been dry for almost the entire time we've lived here. The landscaping is unattractive in our part of the property, with large patches of bare ground and dying plants. Some ground cover and native plants would make a big difference. There has been caution tape on our neighbor's broken staircase railing for over a month now. Sometimes the parking lot is strewn with trash and the garbage can is overflowing for 2-3 days. The management and maintenance staff are friendly and well-intentioned, but communication and follow-through is sorely lacking.

For the most part, it’s been a great experience living at Woodcreek most I are very friendly. We’ve had multiple issues with the property management team. Maintenance team has always been very friendly.

Nice place to live within reach of everything distance wise. A little on the older side but happy to see some of the more dilapidated aspects being actively renovated.

Between the roaches, dirty water, poor maintenance response, and run down living conditions I would not only not recommend this complex but I would actively work to steer people away from the high rent for horrible living conditions! If I’m not fighting roaches and flies entering the living area, then I’m fighting to get basic equipment fixed! Not one single closet door works, mold, filth, and let’s not Even discuss the hazards of the balcony and patio fencing. If I know someone who wants to Throw 1000’s down a toilet I will definitely recommend them here. Of course I couldn’t guarantee the toilet would flush!!!

I’ve only been here since July and here are the things that have not been resolved and some gripes about the apartment itself. - AC central cooling doesn’t work. We live in an upstairs unit but, regardless of the location the cooling should work. We run the AC day and night and it will never go below 82 degrees. Summer heat here is unbearable. - Cockroaches, huge ones, I’m not talking about small little roaches, I’m talking about the huge suckers you see outside on the street. We’ve put in a work order for them and all they did was set up adhesive traps around the dishwasher and flooring of the kitchen. It is DISGUSTING to find these at anytime of the day. - windows jam and are very hard to open. The screen that goes on the windows don’t fit, a little push and the whole thing will fly off. It’s very frustrating that they don’t purchase ones that actually fit these window dimensions. - the apartment didn’t seem ready by move in date, our move it was pushed back almost a week because it wasn’t ready, and on move in day, we still had people in the apartment getting it ready. It was mildly irritating. - the dishwasher is from the 80’s, how they charge so much for such outdated appliances is beyond me. It’s been broken for almost 2 months and they are still to fix or replace it. - our washer and dryers in the unit are also from the 80’s, had to put in a work order the first week of move in to have it fixed. - the pool was closed up until late July, and even once it was opened, the chemicals still had to set for another 30 days. The jacuzzi is still not operational as of August 31. - there doesn’t seem to be anyone who picks up the trash that travels around the apartments. I’ll see pieces of trash just laying around the complex. It takes away from the beauty of the landscape here. Don’t move here. I’ll be moving once my lease is up

I have been a resident for two years and have seen even worse management with Greystar than the previous corporate entity managing the property. I am a single renter with a single income, and they consistently raise rent despite offering similar units at different prices. The office staff is often not in the leasing office for community questions. The property is dog-friendly and one of the ONLY large dog friendly properties in the area, but now that I no longer have my large dog, there is not much else keeping me here. In the past, myself and my neighbors have had issues with office staff sending other renters' private information over email. They follow an "Essential Workforce Housing Program" income adjustment and make you submit your tax info or three paystubs, and I am currently paying them 42% of my total post-tax income. Seems par for the course in California, and they do not seem to care about their residents or inconveniencing them. The outside property management is shoddy at best- blocked gutters, roof litter, broken sprinklers. I had high hopes moving here but it has been constant downhill. I had my bike stolen from my garage right after Greystar took over and the property manager never even acknowledged my forwarding of the police report.
