I have been extremely impressed by how well and how quickly the maintenance staff responds to all requests. I recently was dumb enough to clog my toilet when something fell into it, and they responded immediately and took care of the problem. Winthrop West is a great community with affordable prices to boot. The staff here are wonderful and have so far been able to accommodate us for most of the issues we’ve had since moving in. The community is conveniently located with many grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance which elevates the overall experience. I would recommend living here to anyone in the Riverview/Brandon area.
Everything is as nice as pictured. Everything in my unit was brand new. The staff is incredibly friendly and greet everyone by name when you see them anywhere. The maintenance staff are amazingly responsive and also always have a friendly greeting when you pass them. Thr rent is very reasonable and the abundance if treeless bring welcome shade on hot days.

This community has a wonderful, friendly, competent, and responsive staff. It feels so safe to live here. There is an easy access to so much nearby - Publix plaza across the street, Walmart Neighborhood store next door, banks, restaurants, and charter school across the street.
There was lots of room for me and my family we enjoyed our stay very much can’t wait to come back next time would recommend.

We have been at Winthrop West for about two months now and have loved our experience. The ladies in the office are always willing to help! We haven't had to put in a maintanence request but Anthony, the maintanence manager seems very knowledgable and we know we're in good hands. Call me crazy… but Winthrop West has the BEST pickleball courts in the area. I love this sport so much and am so thankful to have this amenity so close to my apartment. I found this apartment complex a little over two years now and enjoy living here. The Cortland management team ensures a comfortable living standard and evidently screens its tenants quite well. The area is superb. At least 10 supermarkets, more restaurants than you can think of, hospitals, medical facilities, gas stations, schools and major stores are all within walking distance and less two miles away. I like it here.

Winthrop west is a great place to call home, i have been here for 4 years now and have absolutely no real problems with either my apartment or my surroundings, the grounds is always kept clean and the trees trimmed, we do not live in a perfect world, but what ever happens, the team is always ready and willing to slove any issues, I'm glad i made here my home.

It is a nice gated community that is conveniently located near many businesses; walking distance to Publix, Walmart, a couple banks and plenty of restaurants.

They on site staff is awesome. If that is important to you then this is the place to live. If your concern is the property as a whole this may not be the place for you as the Corporate (off site) team and the owner have no regard for the property or the residents.

Make sure they dont get you for the insurance. I showed proof of full year payment of renters insurance at signing of lease. Now they are trying g to fine me for not having it when I paid a full years worth up front. I showed documents!

We have some of the amazing maintenance guys. That will go beyond to help you if they can with a situation as quick as possible. I have put in requests for things they had to be fix it and found out something else had broken the meantime they tried go ahead and fix that while they're there if it reasonable easy fix. I never had to wait long for him to fix anything in my apartment.
