Windwood Oaks Apartments

They are infested with roaches!!! They lied about spraying!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

Just moved in this month. From the start of my apartment search this leasing office has been super informative and responsive. Being tied up with work unfortunately I had to sign my lease based on photos and Google reviews. Once I made it to Tampa to tour the Apartment it was everything I was looking for and more. Lamar M. the leasing agent is the best leasing agent I ever came across! Throughout this entire process, he’s been easily accessible and patient with my millions of questions making him extremely helpful. He even went as far as connecting me with another resident selling a washer and dryer! I am very happy with my choice thus far and I’m excited for the events to come at my new home

I've been living here for a little over a year now. So far my stay here has been peaceful. Maintanence is good. They always take care of my issues in a timely manner. I can't speak for everyone's experience here but only for my own. I know I can be a bit of a pain at times with my complaints but the office staff always comes though in the end. Thank you for being kind.

Theses apartments are great. The layout is nice the room is spacious with a nice walk in closet. I love that the bathroom is located outside of the room so guests don't have to enter the bedroom. LaMar Moore was amazing! He went above and beyond to make me and my family feel at home. I would recommend these apartments to any and everyone.

They don’t do anything but badger you about rent. Instead of making a key for the laundryroom they’d rather lock it with your clothes in there with no regards to if you have to work at anytime of the day. They don’t take care of any appliances. But will be at your door the first day after the first. I don’t recommend this apartment complex at all and advice you to find somewhere cheaper and better.

I love my new home. All the staff is amazing and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The grounds are nice it is very peaceful. I have no complaints at all....If you are considering Windwood Oaks, you will not be disappointed.

I believe that this building is a true gem in the middle of a large and busy city. If you want the feeling of being in a neighborhood and not a complex, you'll feel right at home here. The two lakes on both ends are teeming with fish, ducks, and wildlife and there are so many oak trees that soften the place up for someone who needs to have nature around them. Maintenance work is quick and simple here. I once broke my air conditioner by my own fault end even though my on-call maintenance man was far out of town, he was at my apartment 45 minutes later when it was getting dark outside. The grounds are well maintained and the leasing staff wants you to feel like you matter (and you should always feel this!) They are always reliable at keeping track of your rent and other payments. Everyone is friendly enough to talk to and make conversations with, and there are many people walking their dogs. Best of all, it's a quiet complex. I can't hear my neighbors because the walls are thick and the apartments are spread far apart. My busy life gives me anxiety, but this complex gives me peace. I might be forced to move when my lease ends because my roommate left without letting me know. It's a real shame because this place is wonderful.

Pros: - accepts dogs and cats - offers preferred employer discounts - low deposit and waivers of administrative fees with preferred employer - water, trash, and pest control included with rent - shady trees across much of the property - ample parking - convenient to the interstate and downtown Tampa - convenient to many grocery stores and fast food restaurants - 2 pools, fitness center, laundry facilities, and tennis courts - laundry hookups available in all units - all units have decks or a screened porch - all units have an outside storage room - upgraded units available with laminate flooring except in bedrooms - online rent pay available with a small fee each month Cons - breed restrictions for dogs - not a desirable area of town - no recycling available - management is slow to seek maintenance and repairs when requested, will have to make many requests - many units have old appliances - located along a busy main highway with road noise for units closest to the road - residents are mainly of lower income although quite mixed culturally - few areas to walk dogs - although the community is gated, main gate is broken and always left open; the side gate is also always open and anyone can enter the community at any time

I havent really had no problems here, The have pest problems, and send our pest control but they have to be here non stop, and they go up on rent every single renew time. I was paying 750. and one year later they want 900. CRAZY

It's a quiet apartment complex, even though their are many buildings. There are many shops and other places close by like Publix, Aldi, Walmart, Target, and even USF. The apartment itself is priced well for the area and for how crime free the area is. The staff is very nice and helpful with any problem or question you have for them. The apartments are okay, the floors are a nice dark laminate and there is a lot of closet and storage space but the kitchen and bathroom are in working condition, but not very upgraded. The only problems I've had are one of the old cabinet doors breaking off and the garbage disposal not working, twice, but maintenance is always helpful and come by as soon as they can to fix anything that is wrong. All in all a very good choice for an apartment in North Tampa!

The apartments at Windwood oaks , are a little on the expensive side but the amount of living room space is worth it .the maintenance are mostly prompt when you call the office.

I am so in love with the space that the apartment offers. There are many closets to use and fill with housing goods. Those closets aren't small or hard to get to. Though I am loving my space it can sometimes be disappointing that the hard wood flooring in the kitchen and bathroom looks like it needs to be re-done. There are scratches as well as it just had a old look like the kitchen cabinets. The kitchen cabinets are outdated and it appears that instead of replacing them, extra wood is added to replace withering bottoms to cabinets and old outdated cabinet paper added over. The place would be so ideal if the kitchen were modernized instead of just fixed for the moment. With all that being said I am enjoying my space and the friendliness of the office staff. The complex is busy with crazy noise or anything like that.
