The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Windigrove Apartments
Been here four months... Three ceiling leaks, AC has broken twice, hot water heater has been fixed twice, washers hot and cold water settings are backwards (didn’t figure that out until I shrunk a nice sweater), NO insulation between floors, roaring highway 24/7, RUDE staff that doesn’t return phone calls, and little parking available.
lightingI have lived here about six months now and I love it! The pool area is beyond gorgeous and spacious! The grounds are well kept and very clean. The fitness center is top of line equipment. The down side is that we are on the third floor and no elevator so it makes it difficult on shopping day! The apartment is very spacious. We have a loft that could be a third bedroom, office or family room. The staff is very good about having activities for family and kids. I would highly recommend. We have enjoyed it living here very much. The apartments are located in the center of town and so close to everything. Walmart is within a 1/4 of a mile, grocery stores, shopping, target. We are in the middle of it all!
Apartment building changes the agreements on a regular basis, amenities change and were delayed 7 months. Won't fix appliances blame manufacturers and say it's under warranty and their hands are tied. No sound proof between floors or walls, can here people walking back in forth, clothes washer and dryer echo through the walls and floors. Can hear the interstate traffic all the time. There are not enough parking spaces it's a free for all and garages are few. Also water is billed on an average on each building with larger apartments pay the most. Not by person or renters or having individual meters. So if a single person has a 2 bedroom apartment and a couple and child have a one bedroom the two bedroom pays twice as much regardless of water use. Same as if there were 4 people sharing a two bedroom apartment there water bill is the same as the single person in the 2 bedroom. Rentals prices have already increased compared to what they advertise. I guess landscaping is still ongoing as pallets stacked and only about 60% is completed in the past 15 months, dog park has been sitting for the past 8 months not finished. No business center available. Save yourself lots of frustration and find another apartment complex
So we downsized from 2800 sq foot to about 1500 sq foot and are still adjusting, but loved the thoughts of the amenities here. Pool here won't be open until next season and will be heated, but is rather small for the complex's size. There is no business center here and they are still working to get fitness center opened 24 hrs. Seems to be a slow work in progress. Parking is limited after 5 pm, so if you are lucky enough to get a garage, I recommend it. Manager and office staff are always friendly. Maintenance is fair. Sod is still being laid, community center just opened. There are many dogs here, large and small, I often hear my neighbors when he leaves. MOST of the residents are friendly. Its in a great location, convenient to everything and cheaper and nicer than renting in Charlottesville. Overall, we are happy here and would recommend to others. The apartments are nicer inside than most, but we were surprised that the only ceiling fan is in the master and our loft apartment does not have the larger ceiling heights in the bedrooms. Storage space for us is limited, but that's apartment life, I presume.
