Willowbrook II

Clear that screws have been left out of sliding screen tracks to allow for the workers and their friends to attempt theft on your place. We’ve been here only a short while and have repeated attempts on our place. Leaving bed splays out to allow people to hop the barrier. I’ve gone about replacing equipment myself and reworking the equipment so it simply won’t move. When asked if there were security issues or pest issues we were told there were little to none. No one leaves anything out that isn’t absolute garbage which was the first clue however I didn’t think they’d want to check my trash lol.

Pros: Very nice apartment, spacious and well kept Management is highly responsive to maintenance issues in the apartment Grounds seem well kept although not the most lush - many barren areas Washer and dryer hookups but for dryer is electric only. Cons: I have the worst neighbors I've ever had in my entire life upstairs. The noise never, ever stops with continuous bangs, bumps, crashes, stomping, running.It's like living in a construction zone. I knew from the first week I moved in that I would be moving out at lease end. You can't change people that are this far gone. Kids use the parking lot as a playground. Very unsafe for everyone. Pools are often closed with no explanation. Must give 60 day notice of moving out (plus 2 months rent if breaking lease). When your lease nears the end, they notify you to either sign for a new 12 month lease or have your rent increase by even more than what it will increase with a renewed lease. Not only that, they will raise it even more by $10 every month. In other words, renew or get out. Very rude.

My first month here I went to go park in my parking spot I was given and another tenant blocked me in and would not move his car because he said it was his spot now. The family that lives above us are not considerate of us that live below them. There kids run and scream all three the night. I tried talking with them and asked them nicely to please keep it down so I can work and the mother just gave me attitude and slammed the door in my face. I know ypur thinking tell the manger well I did 5 TIMES! I've also took videos of it and NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. Now last night a bunch of kids that did not live here snuck in and had a HUGE party and had a fight in the parking lot so I told the manager again and of course they did nothing and to make it worse there was no security guard to break up the party so they were here till 4 in the morning! DO NOT LIVE HERE IT IS THE WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!! If I could put zero Stars I would but obviously it won't let me

The one-bedroom apartment at Willowbrook is the best one-bedroom option in Merced - believe me, I've looked! The one-bedroom is a stand-alone unit, kind of like a villa or cottage, but it's located in a complex, so you still get all the convenience of a complex (trash, maintenance, pool, etc). I also love that the complex is full of beautiful trees. The unit has washer/dryer hook-up and on-site laundry. Management is friendly, maintenance is quick, and the university bus stop is right out front. Families live here, as well as students, faculty, and staff from UC Merced and the community college.

My roommate and I live in this apartment complex and that's exactly what it is "complex." It has everything that anyone could need or want. If you were starting a family and have kids, they have two different playgrounds and two pools to relax and enjoy life. Also for the adults they have a beach volleyball court, and right across the street is a open soccer field, a basketball court, and yet another playground. The staff is phenomenal as well, as soon as an individual lets Susan, the manager, know that something is broken she lets the team of handymen know and they are there and the problem is fixed in the same day. They also have implemented security that walks the entire place every night. I have only lived in this magnificent place for a little over a month but i highly recommend this place for anyone.

My Husband & I, have been living in these apartments for 1 1/2 year we really love it here. Since we first saw the environment of these apartments, we fell in love with them, have so many trees, such a family place. The manager Susan, she is the nicest person and if you have a question, she will answer it promptly. Also they have 2 pools that are so accommodation to all the residents here. You feel safe and it a Gated Community, with a Security Guard all time. They really take care of the cleaning, racking, blowing and trimming trees and etc. really accurate also fixing all apartments. When you have something wrong in your apartment they will take less then 24 hours to fix it, unless is something major. They are pet friendly and most of the neighbors are all respectful and polite. We surely recommend these apartments to anyone. We are going to live here for as long as we can. We are very comfortable with everything, we appreciate the care and the attention they give every resident. I hope this help for you to make a decision in looking for your home. Gated family community conveniently located near shopping centers, parks, bus stops and highway 99. The 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units are spacious w/central air/heat and a laundry room. Amenities: 2 laundry rooms, 2 large swimming pools w/inside and outside party rooms w/BBQ pits, 2 playgrounds and pet friendly. Rent is reasonable. Kitchens and bathrooms could use some updating. Management is great!

Nice apartments, well kept with friendly staff. We are seniors and feel very safe here. Apartments are gated and we also have a security guard. There are two nice pools, laundry rooms and also hookups in apartments. Love the walking paths and beautiful trees!

I have been residing at the Willowbrook apartments for over a year now and I love it here. I have never had a problem getting in contact with management and maintenance when I had a question or needed help; I always receive greetings from employees here at the complex which is really nice as well. As far as noise level and neighbors go, I never had an issue with loud noises or neighbors, everyone is really courteous of each other. I really like the fact that Willowbrook is a gated apartment complex, it makes living here feel more safe and comfortable. Overall, I would say that my living experience here at Willowbrook has been a great one, I'm really happy living here.

Living at the Willowbrook Apartment is very welcoming . From the moment you drive through the gate. All the nice pine tress around the whole apartments make you feel relaxing . Makes you feel like your in Lake Tahoe.. The office team very nice and professional. Very clean. So many amenities pool, volleyball, gated and security around the clock. If anything is wrong with your apartment they get on it. I will defiantly recommend these apartments..

I've made a unit my home at the Willowbrook Apartments for over ten years. The complex is beautiful, well maintained, friendly neighborhood. Plus the amenities(2 pools, 2 laundry rooms, volleyball court, 2 playgrounds, walking paths) are at its finest to comfort each and every tenant/family. The units are very spacious with a modern style. The gated apartment complex entry is only accessible by using a padlock code, remote, or key a for security. The managers and staff take their duties seriously by ensuring the quality and safety of their community members at the Willowbrook Apartments. Happy Home=Happy Living.

The manager was curtious & very helpfull with the application process. The grounds are well kept & if there are any repairs that need to be done, they are done quickly & curtiously. We are very happy with our apartment & our neighbors.

My name is Lisa J. Garcia, in 1995 I rented a 3 bedroom apt. in the Willow brook I had lived here for 3 yrs. I moved to a house to raise my boys and have a yard, they grew up. About 20 yrs. later I was looking for an apt. I remembered the Willow brook. I have lived here for 7 yrs. as of July 2015. Since I have lived here I have been very comfortable as a disabled older Woman. I really love my spacious apartment. The living room, dinning room and the kitchen and the window to look out are enjoyable. The bedrooms are spacious as well as the closets to fit all the clothes I have and that is a lot. The bathrooms are a very good size, I like that the bathtub has a bar to help get in and out of the bathtub, as well as the shower that helps with support while in the shower. The laundry room is a plus with my disabilities it makes it very convenient to do my laundry in the convenience of my home. It's good to know that if my machines should break there are 2 beautiful decorated laundry rooms that are very clean and maintained. The two patios are great the one in the Master for privacy and the on off the living room which is large enough for my two little Yorkie doggies and all my many plants. The front has enough space for my bench and many more plants, which are my hobbies and good therapy. I have had so many complements from my neighbors, I have even shared clippings with my green thumb. My neighbors are peaceful people, we have much respect for each other and try to help out each other if needed. There are a few that I know that have lived here for many years and those who haven't are still respectful and courteous. The Management are very courteous and respectful employees, that always greet us with a welcoming smile, this makes it very comfortable to sit down and discuss matters with them. They are very attentive when matters are need to be fixed or if situations arise with other tenants and it is taken care of accordingly. This is very appreciated. The Maintenance Crew, the Contractors are men that are very nice, respectful, and courteous, they are always ready to stop working to give a helping hand to people in need. It makes me feel so good that there are people here that care. The 2 swimming pools are such a pleasure to have family gatherings with installed bar be cue pits and the outdoor furniture. In closing it is a pleasure living in a gated complex where a person can feel safe in there home. The Willow brook Apts. are in a great location.

From the point of view of a person who has lived in both high quality and low quality apartments, i would have rate this particular apt. complex as slightly above average. Despite thin walls, and the occasional electrical issue i dont have any complaints. There are washers and dryers in the complex, with the option of installing your own. There are two swimming pools and the maintenance crew does an excellent job of maintaining the cleanliness of said pools, and the manager does and good job of maintaining functionality of the complex overall.

Enough isn't said about management at an apartment complex. It easy to be happy when everything is going well, but if something does come up the management here is quick and reliable to fix it. I can not stress enough how happy me and my wife have been here. It may not be a house but I'm happy to call this place a home.

I have been in this apartment with my family for almost two and half years now. I have never had any serious problems with the apartment. The management staff are always on top of things. Any time I call the office with an issue, I have a knock on my door within a few hours to get it taken care. The only complaint I have is that the parking structure in the back is the only one that does not have "reserved parking" written on it, and I am constantly having my parking spot being taken. Overall I have loved living here. My kids love that access to the parks and pools in the complex. We also like that the complex is located right across from a park and field so the kids can run out all their energy.

The rent for the size of this apartment is a good find compared to others in the area. It has a large master bedroom with a roomy master bath, linen closet in the master, as well as an elongated closet. The second bedroom is of good size with a regular size closet. There is a washer and dryer hookup enclosure so you don't have to lug your laundry down to the on site laundry mat. There is also a large main bathroom. I was pleased to find that we had 2 balconies with sliding glass doors that are perfect to look out at all the trees. The management is very friendly and helpful and when maintenance is needed it is completed quickly.

I recently moved to these apartments from a dangerous part of Merced, and I feel much safer here. I was personally attracted to the staff, their personalities made it comfortable for me to live here! The rent is not the cheapest, but it is doable. Being a college student, I feel at ease to see that there our other students living here with a combination of families. People are respectful here, and there are no worry of rude neighbors. Also since a lot of students live here, it is convenient because the UC Merced bus comes right in front of the complex. So far, these apartment seem well put together and I see no problem with them.

The apartments in which we live in and are pretty clean but more importantly they contain safety alarms , the people in which work in the office are very friendly and if necessary give us their help . If we have a problem with the apartment there is always efficient and friendly workers. The apartments contain two safe and clean pools, a volleyball court, and laundry rooms. Last but certaintly not least, the security is always wondering, even during the night.

Willowbrook Apartments is a beautiful place to live, well kept, and vigorously maintained. It has wonderful sidewalks and walk-ways, so many trees, multiple playgrounds, and multiple pools. Willowbrook was my first place after my divorce. The 3-bedroom is the largest I've seen, unbeatable price. My apartment was nestled in the back corner, that although apartment leaving has the stigma of possibly being bothersome with the notion of noisy neighbors or unwanted disturbances, my apartment neighbors couldn't be more pleasant. I left when I reconciled with my wife, and when after a couple years of trying again and failing, I didn't even hesitate. Willowbrook Apartments took me back, gave me a 3-bedroom apartment again, this time overlooking the pool. The management team is top-notch, caring for every need I have. The apartment complex is even better when I left, with new renovations and new amenities in the pool areas. I cannot say enough of how awesome it feels to live here. Second time living here, still the best!!!

I've been living at my apartment for a little over a year now and I have plans to stay for awhile I love everything about it!! My kids school bus come right out front and pick them up and drop them off that's very convenient. they also have multiple park's to attend to we have two lovely pool area my neighbors are awesome? nice people I really have plans to live out my life here with my kids I couldn't tell you of a better place than where I'm at now in my life thanks to Willowbrook apartments. sincerely. your tenant.

I really enjoy living here the owners and management and staff are more than helpful and friendly. I came into a situation and needed a place asap they helped me out quick it was a very difficult time for me and they made the process very easy. I thought living here was going to be a short time, I've never liked living in apartments, but I am very comfortable here and feel very safe here and never seem to have any issues here. They are quick when things need fixing, they constantly keep the grounds clean. To win rent would be a major plus for me due to the fact that I have been currently fighting for 5 years for social security due to a back injury. I have to have a roommate at this time because I can not afford to pay rent or bills on my own, I have 3 beautiful daughters and 1 amazing son. My oldest daughter currently is going to college in Chico ca, my youngest daughter lives here with me and my other son and daughter reside with there father they are my step children ive raised them for 11 years so they are my children. Anyways this apartment is an awesome place to live!

The willowbrook apartments is a great place to live. It is a gated community that makes me feel safe. There is always a security guard on duty. There are two pools, two laundry rooms, and the rent is cheap for the space that you are getting. I love it here because everyone is nice and says hello (especially the maintenance workers and staff). Any time I have put in a work order, the workers get on it immediately and are always there to help if there are any appliance problems, etc. I have lived here for two years and love it.

I moved here to the willowbrook apartments about a year and a half ago and must say this is probably the best ran complex I've ever lived in. The management here are very helpful about addressing issues that I might have and are very friendly. The only con I would have have to say is my neighbors downstairs who Are very annoying but hey, everyone I'm sure has had there share of bad neighbors. Overall I would have to say I'm very happy where I live plus my children are comfortable living here. I feel safe knowing that this is a gated complex. The Willowbrook Apartments are great apartments. The Willowbrook Apartments are good for people that are single, married couples, and families too. There are two pools, two laundry rooms, and two parks inside of the apartments. If your worried about safety the apartments are in a pretty safe location and are gated. All the staff here are really friendly and fix any issues that come up right away. The apartments look just as good inside as they look outside. Overall the Willowbrook Apartmets are amazing apartments. Not to mention they are just across the way from Walmart.

Personally, the Willowbrook apartments is decent and affordable. I like how friendly the nieghbors are here and when you have a problem that needs to be taken care of managment gets the job done in a prompt and timely manner. At this complex they have 2-3 bedrooms available all with laundry hook ups which is a convenient especially if you have children like I do. Theres even a park across the street which is nice and there is also a school bus which picks up the children right in front of the complex to a near by school. I've been living here for 2 years now and have not thought about moving out just possibly upgrading to a 3 bedroom in the near future for more room. Hope this helps!

I really love this apartment that i am in right now! when we first came to the apartment oh my gosh both the manager there was so nice to me and my family. We went in and out with our applications and couple days the manager called, they are amazing and super really nice people to work with and they also worked with me and my family to make sure were satisfy with our apartment. Willowbrook apartment is also gated, has two beautiful pool area with lounges, very nice area for volleyball and a playground for my son to play in and lots of parking space. Shopping area is just around the corner. Me and my family had the best experience here because other apartment we been through didn't want to work with us or they took very long to call us back! These apartments are amazing for those that want a home feeling. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Whenever something needs to be fixed, it is done within two days of the request. Moving to these apartments has brought happiness and joy, with such a great atmosphere there is no way someone can be sad. Not to mention the location of the apartment is great for college students on a budget. There is a park across the street, Wal-Mart is nearby and a bus stop is very close. The apartments are very quiet and is perfect if you are looking for that piece of mind.

My name is Veronica Martinez I have lived in this gated community since January of 2009. The managers have been awesome I never had any problems with the residents around me. And when something breaks down they fix the problem right away. I have two boys that take the school bus right outside my gate and they are accomodated with other kids that live in this community that go to the same school. This is a family orientated residential area we have two parks and two swimming pools with barbecue pits for families in our gated community as well as a clean laundry mat. The managers care about having a clean environment as well as a safe place for their residents. I am pleased to say it is now 2015 and I have enjoyed my place of residential here at the at the Willowbrook Apartments.

The apartments i live in make me feel safe with all the new upgrades(ie: firealarms/sprinklers, carbon monoxide/smoke detectors) the Willowbrook apartments have a relaxing type setting from the two sparkling pools to the two mini kid parks. Shopping and recreational activities are not too far for walking.

Very quite and beautiful place to live. The staff is very friendly and handles and problem you have immediately. The grounds are kept very nice and are very clean. The gym and pools are very clean. I would strongly recommend Granville Apartments to anyone.

I lived in willowbrook. Apartments for 15 years i lived in a 2 bed room then to a 1 bed room the managers have always ben kind to me and what ever i need they we're always there for me this is the best apartment in merced to live.

I have lived here for the past 3 1/2 years with my two children. I love that it is family friendly and the managers here are always helpful and they worked with me through the tough times.

Quiet,convenient,beautifel, peice of mind, love it all the looks of the place and the employees as well. You cant make a mistake living here. Lots of room also

I have a 2bedroom 2 bathroom apartment both rooms are a nice size both bathroom are large with plenty of storage! There is an onsite laundry facility, but in my apartment there is w/d hook up so I am able to wash clothes in the comfort of my own home! Everyone in the leasing office is amazing and they always are there if I have an issues which is rare. I love my space I plan on being here for a extensive amount of time , rent Is also an amazing price for 2 bedroom 2bath I am more than satisfied!!
