Property Ratings at Willow Estates
I rented at the Willow about 2 years ago. I was not told about the train frequency behind the apartments. The trains come through at all hours of the night and it shook the apartment and it was loud. When I moved out, I was badgered about damage on the garage entrance about 10 feet off the ground near the roof. I thought to myself, how in the heck would I have done that ? First of all, I didn't store ANYTHING in the garage by driving a U-Haul to the garage. During the winter, I noticed a very large tractor would come right next to my garage and put snow in a huge pile. When the scooper would scoop up snow, the scooper would raise to a height as tall as my garage.Hmmm. There is definitely a blame game at the Willows to keep the security deposit. Beware of that throughout your lease. Take pictures of questionable issue BEFORE you sign a lease.
The manager is attentive and responsive. Everyone is very helpful. The apartment is spacious and wonderful. The trains that pass by all hours of the night definitely would have been nice to know about as an out of towner. I havent slept through the night since moving here. It's hard to say that I wouldn't have chosen thia property had I known because of the quality of service and value... but I sure hope with the winter snow the trains stop blowing through here blaring their horns at 3am. I look forward to a good nights sleep again and hopefully before my year lease is up. I don't anticipate staying longer.
Words cannot express how disappointed I am with S.C. Swiderski. During our last few months there was a pipe leak in our complex. It ended up flooding our apartment making it unlivable for a week. When it came time to move out we got charged for new carpeting and damages that the water leak caused. They did not care. As a result of the water leak they just covered the problem, did not fix it. I would not feel comfortable living here due to mold growth. They also accused us of stuff just so they could keep the deposit. Prior to choosing Willow Estates I heard many people tell me to not expect my security deposit back....I did not believe them but I should have! My suggestion is to stay FAR away from S.C. Swiderski.
Spacious rooms heat included with garage. Quiet and close to church and shopping. Well kept up and any problems are taken care of right away. Inspect the apartments every 6 months to insure all is working and clean. Manager is very helpful.
