The staff and amenities are great here! The people living here, and people that come onto the property are not great. My car was stolen (as was another ladies car) and there are parents allowing their children to run around and vandalize the community and just act awful.

Everything is good, but don't understand why the second pool is still closed and we are approaching July now. Not an amenity when it sits closed. Valet trash...they get a lot of days where they don't collect so I just take it to the trash reception myself. Waste of money.

Wild Oaks is nice community, with friendly neighbors, close access to highways, schools, shopping, restaurants and entertainment in the KC Metro area. Management are professional and prompt, Kloe & her team are always quick to assist!!!

I have lived here a few years and I have been very happy. They keep these property looking very nice. I have needed maintaince several times and they have taken care of the problem very quickly and have always been very helpful. I would very much recommend these apartments. Everyone I have met here have been wonderful.

Wild Oak has been a great experience for me. The maintenance crew is always available to help if needed and have quick responses. The grounds are beautiful especially in the fall. Staff and management seem friendly as well when I have had to contact them. Payments are easy as well with the online portal.

Pros: Maintenance team is awesome. Complex allows larger dogs and the community is very dog friendly Cons: 1) Not upscale as advertised. 2) New owners took over in 2023 and a new management team along with it. 3) Management canceled my renewal lease even though it's signed by both parties. This is because I refused to sign a revised utility addendum correcting their mistake. 4) Nothing the leasing agent documented to be fixed during my move in inspection was ever addressed. 5) Management added keyless entry for everyone. This really benefits management. It is not included in the base rent costing an extra $40 per month. 6) The $30 per month concierge trash has been inconsistent. There is always furniture and mattresses by the trash compactor. 7) The pool opened 4 weeks late in 2023 and closed 1 other week this summer. 8) My unit has three air conditioning units that are one foot from my window, making it hard to sleep. 9) Management turned off my keyless entry after they cancelled my renewal lease. 10) My neighbors vehicle was stolen and there are no security cameras. 11) The building that caught fire July 5 is still an eyesore, three months later Bye bye Wild Oak Apartments. I hope a better owner comes along. Office team, you deserve better, find another gig.

We chose Wild Oak Apartments mainly to cut our 45 minute commute to and from work but the floor plan and modern style of the apartment, along with being pet friendly really sealed the deal for us. Natasha was very thorough and personable when we had our tour and was able to answer all our questions and was a continuous source of knowledge and help, along with Kloe who we also were in contact with

Wild Oak Apts. Is a very nice place to live. It's surroundings are beautiful, quiet and friendly. The personnel is very attentive if you need them and maintenence is "Johnny on the spot" if time permits. I Highly recommend it.

This apartment complex was awful to live in. Pools were never open cars vandalized and stolen on a weekly basis because of the location next to low income housing. My apartment flooded on multiple occasions. Office manager was the absolute worst, super hateful with any complaints. The building interior is so outdated meaning the price is ridiculous for what you are actually receiving. Trash areas very unkempt. Hidden fees throughout lease. Incredibly difficult to work with. I moved as soon as my first lease was up I couldn't do it. Be careful!

The leasing agent will tell you one thing but when you sign lease, it will change. When quoted rent, they don't tell you sewer, water, trash and pest control will be added each month. Approximately $100. They tell you free water for 60-90 days but don't tell you at end of lease you pay them for it. You have to have carpet professionally cleaned before moving out. So many things they don't tell you til it's too late to find another place. Snow removal is almost non existent. Hubs in wheelchair and ramp wasn't cleared once last Winter. Not part of sidewalk. Our refrigerator went out & we had to throw all food away and replace at our expense. Had bubble in ceiling 4 months before fixing. One dumpster for entire complex. Big resident turnover. Dog poo everywhere. I tried talking to office and they basically called me a liar. I can only imagine what comment they will add after reading this but you can bet it will make me look like a liar. Check out reviews for this place everywhere. You'll see.

I have lived at Wild Oak Apartments for over 5 years. Since I started living at Wild Oak Apartments, many things have changed one being that they switched over to a different management company. Since doing so, they have been less personable and totally unorganized. We have been told multiple times that we have had to provide certain documents that we provided at least 3-4 times before as well as being told that we didn't pay our rent when we did. The staff are not trained properly and are not held accountable when they make mistakes in communicating certain "rules" to the residents. They do not care at all about the residents but merely about the money. I understand this is a business but this is also supposed to be a community. It does not feel like a warm place to live and we are not renewing our lease. I would NOT recommend anyone living there. Good luck when you do move out, they try to charge for EVERYTHING under the sun.

This is probably the second review I have ever done in my 34 years of existence but felt it was necessary and If I can help one person not make the same mistake I made it is worth it. First off I would describe the management team as the most rude and inconsiderate people I have ever dealt with. The type of people that probably find happiness in evicting people and fining people for the most random stuff. Over the last few months they have literally rented out 50% of the parking spots throughout the community. Basically charging people $35 a month to have a parking spot. They have also started fining and leaving demanding and threatening letters for things that had nothing to do with me. In Short I would recommend living anywhere but here.

Multiple cars and motorcycles have been stolen, cars vandalized, over priced for terrible appliances and tiny space, income based housing next door, pools always closed, indifferent staff, move out prices are INSANE, windows leaking, apartments flooding, you pay for services you never receive, I could keep going but am incredibly disappointed in this complex and would like everyone to know. I don't know one family in my building that is happy with living here and almost everyone I talk to is looking for a new location. Things need to change. After I wrote my initial review I received notice that they were revoking my lease. There is a termination without cause clause in your leases so just know that solely based on the office manager not being happy with your review they can leave you homeless. I can not believe that in 2017 you can lash out and revoke a lease because Tasha the office manager didn't like your review. Insanity but luckily I'm getting out of my lease because I hated living here!

I have never written a review but this time I have to write one. The managers are unacceptably rude. They talk over you and let out a long sigh while talking to a customer. Obviously, when you move in they try to act nice and fake but when you leave it is a painful experience. Many ridiculous charges that you would not think of. They charge you flat rate for water bill (approximately $100 a month for water!!!). Rent somewhere else, trust me it's not worth your time and stress later to argue with this people. I am a very easy-going person but I cannot tolerate this kind of customer service. To the management team, please have more morality in your business practice.

The first day I moved in everyone was nice and helpful, when I was moving my furniture a resident was nice enough to help me move furniture in. I also love that everyone in the community is helpful and friendly. They are keeping everything up to date and upgrading a lot of things and remodeling the Appartments. I just wish the rent was a little cheaper, other than that I love it here and wouldn't want to move because it's a great community.

The apartments are okay, overpriced for outdated features but they ate slowly trying to fix this. The new carpet they use is junk and doesn't hold up at all. We had new carpet installed before we moved in and it is already falling apart. The complex seems more intrested in updating it's clubhouse and office than its apartments. They have a demo unit that they show, but it is nothing like what you will get, at least that was our experience. Finally they seem like they have issues keeping their pools clean and open for use, always having issues with them. Other than that, the location is great.
