Property Ratings at Whispering Hills Apartments
As a current tenant, I would suggest others proceed with caution here, as there are likely better options within a similar budget range. In my personal experience, although repairs are eventually made as I request them, the process is exhausting. Staff generally initially respond with an outright denial of the issue at hand. After that, work orders that do not address the issue are "completed". The amount of effort required to have a reasonable request completed is not worth it. The buildings are old, and if you're looking for a peaceful and quiet environment, this may not be a good fit. Currently, my AC ductwork creates noise so loud when it switches off that it can be heard through my earplugs three floors above the HVAC. It's been impossible to get a refreshing night of sleep when you are woken up over 20 times during a night. However, even if this repair request is eventually completed, I would hesitate to recommend WH without first seeing sustained respectful communication to tenants. If and when I do, I will update my review with honest information. If one has the budget, you might be better off taking your hard-earned dollars elsewhere where you will have true peace of mind and experience better communication with staff.
I have never seen a workout gym, lap pool, sand volleyball so well maintained for an apartment complex. It's a joy to workout and see everything so clean and well maintained. Roberta Telford
- Nothing ever works, and everything breaks. Good luck getting maintenance to fix it. Some maintenance people are nice but some are condescending. - Really enjoy the 7%+ rent increases and random fees each year. - Have a neighbor who’s literally threatened physical violence and stayed outside my apartment door yelling until I called police because I took my dog out to pee outside my building and I wish this was a joke. Ive notified the staff numerous times about this neighbor harassing me but from what I’ve gathered they’ve done nothing. - Staff’s a joke. Absolute joke. They’ll have a free doughnut day once a year and pat themselves on the back then proceed to do nothing but try to sell their next complex.
Very calm and peaceful apartments with lots of trees and nice neighborhood. Wonderful leasing office staff and on time maintenance staff for any help. Overall its a great complex to stay. Highly recommend.
I have lived in Whispering Hills for two years now and absolutely love my townhome! The location in Creve Coeur is fantastic and the community is wonderful to live in and be a part of. The amenities are outstanding as well as having friendly, helpful, and overall phenomenal office and maintenance staff. Services are performed promptly and efficiently, always going above and beyond the set expectations. It has been a second home for me while attending college and has been an amazing experience!
Been living here since 2 years. Good place. Nice apartments. The service is quick and helpful. The management makes sure to resolve any service asap.
Went and visited this community but it didn't have the model available at the time we needed it. Otherwise we would've signed a lease in a heartbeat. The community has a very nice feel to it with fully grown trees everywhere and very quiet. Feels like you are in a park. Lots of great amenities as well. Pretty much everything you need. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Next time around if we're still renting when we move, we definitely wouldn't mind ending up here.
