Whisper is a peaceful and safe property. The office leasing agent makes it so safe and for first time renters to feel so protected. I felt great leaving my child there.

One of the best experiences I’ve had while apartment living. The staff is friendly, maintenance requests get handled pretty quickly, and the appliances are modern. It’s also a pretty quiet place to live. Highly worth considering if you’re looking in the area.

I’ve lived all over Texas — from Nacogdoches to North Texas, and Central Texas/Austin area — and I still think fondly of Whisper Oaks. It was my first college apartment, and honestly, it’s been my favorite ever since! The location is fantastic: quiet neighborhood, close to shops, restaurants, SFA, and NHS. But what really made it stand out was the peaceful environment — you don’t hear your neighbors through the walls like you do in so many newer complexes. That alone made a huge difference during college when I needed to focus or get a good night’s sleep. It also felt safe, and anytime my roommate or I had a maintenance issue, it was handled immediately. The service was always fast, friendly, and reliable. Plus, it’s not on fraternity or sorority row, which meant no late-night noise or party messes left behind in the yard. Jennifer at Simpson Real Estate was (and is!) an absolute gem of a property manager — hands down the best I’ve ever dealt with. Whisper Oaks set a high bar for every apartment I’ve lived in since.

Great complex close to campus, staff is helpful and efficient, maintenance is very timely and friendly.Apartments are large and come with washer and dryer, neighbors are quiet - no parties or loud music. Enjoyed my stay

Quiet complex located close to SFA, shopping, banking and post office. Units are large with plenty of storage/closet space, full sized washers and dryers in each unit, updated fixtures, balconies/patios, onsite leasing and maintenance, 24 hour answering service

I had a problem with my plumbing and the property manager got service out to my apartment right away. Turns out my son flushed a toy! Anyway, the apartment is very nice and I have no issues. I love my place!

The apartments and property are very well card for and maintained. Noise level is low and parking is easy. I feel safe here -and it’s a quick bike ride or drive to downtown Nac or the college.

I can confirm from the other review that the office staff here ignore the phone and even in person maintenance requests. I have never lived anywhere this bad when it comes to fixing issues or even having someone show up to check on an issue.

Horrible customer service , no one is ever in the office, phone calls go unanswered, take days to get a reply via email, bug issues, exterminator comes twice a year when it should be more, washers & dryers are vintage, congested parking lot, & be prepared to get late notices but on time complaints
