Teays Valley and Hurricane are two towns nestled in the forests of West Virginia about 30 miles east of Huntington and 20 miles northwest of Charleston. The majority of this area is woodlands, but the center strip of town, along Interstate 64, is where the main commercial and residential areas are located. This section of town features family-friendly fun at community parks, a sports center, and a golf course. Teays Valley Road holds plazas filled with all the essentials as well as an array of dining options and a movie theater. A variety of affordable apartments also lie along this road. Since the Kanawha River partially borders the eastern side of town, outdoor recreation of all kinds abounds in this area. From hiking through the forests to watersports, this section of town has you covered.

The property manager refused to refund my deposit as there was a small discoloration on the carpet in the bedroom. It easily would be removed with a home carpet cleaner, yet They said they would have to replace the carpet.

Poorly kept and managed. Raised rent during lease term and will nickle and dime you for the so called “amenities” that are priced in to the exorbitant rent. During our lease term garbage was overflowing and pet waste scattered throughout the campus. DO NOT give this company your money.
Honestly the best place to rent in Teays Valley They truly thought of everything with a clubhouse, pool, gym, game room, movie theater, dog park and tennis. We feel completely safe here, even walking at night. The facility is clean and well maintained and staff are very professional and handle any issues promptly. And did I mention the interstate is 60 seconds away? The maintenance crew are courteous, prompt and most importantly, available. If you are looking for the best place to rent, you couldn’t do any better than Wexford Village.

I would recommend Wexford Village for a residence. I have lived here for almost 3 years. Personally I have had a good experience with both the office staff and the maintence workers. The complex is very quiet and I love my patio that over looks a field. It’s a good place for me to walk my pups and I’ve met some nice people here.

I moved to West Virginia from Indiana and after a lot of searching online, I chose Wexford! A big selling point, for me, was having a washer/dryer in unit. I was not able to come see the unit in person, so I was not sure what to expect. I have a one bedroom and it definitely exceeded my expectations. It is very spacious, the applicances are very up to date, the granite countertops are lovely and the walk-in closet is great! It is conveniently located between two great cities, Charleston and Huntington are about 20-30min away, with lots of shops and restaurants. Everyone is super nice and helpful here in the office and maintenance personnel are very responsive and helpful. The amenities are great, 24hr gym, game room, office, movie theatre and pool!! It is pricey but you get a lot. I definitely recommend!!

My name is Linda Dalton. I am a 71 year old handicapped widow and I live by myself. I would just like to say how much I love living at Wexford Village at Devonshire. I have lived here four years and I am so happy here. The staff is amazing , very pleasant and always willing to help. I feel safe here and I have made some great friends. I moved here from another county in WV where I had lived all my life and needless to say, I was apprehensive but I didn’t need to be because it has been an awesome experience.

Devonshire is the ideal place to call home. The apartments are located minutes away from I64(but you can’t hear the road noise) making commuting easy to Charleston and Huntington areas. Conveniently located near gas stations and grocery store. The apartments themselves have spacious walk in closets, cute patios (on most apartments) and generous sized bedrooms and living space. The staff is second to none - always helpful and always available. There are often hosted social events for residents, holiday parties, and an overall welcoming vibe. And most importantly for me...pet friendly!

Management is awful, and maintenance is even worse! If you move here you'd better hope that you never need anything fixed because maintenance will take literally months to fix it, if they don't just end up ignoring your maintenance request entirely. If you need to ever get ahold of management, you might get a response in a few days. If you're lucky. For the price you pay (in the middle of nowhere, WV, mind you), you'd expect exceptional amenities and high end apartments. What you get instead is an old, dilapidated apartment with basic contractor grade finishes and amenities that are showing their age as well. The grounds/exteriors are also poorly maintained. Even such a simple task as keeping the pet waste stations cleaned up and stocked with bags seems to be a challenge for them. They like to mention their 'excellent location' Midway between Huntington and Charleston. What that really means, though, is you get significantly fewer stores/services than you would if you lived in Charleston or Huntington with the added benefit of a traffic nightmare to get to and from work every day. If you do a little bit of digging, you can find plenty of places around here that are reasonably priced with good amenities, nice features, and a good location. This is not that place, though.

I moved here from Brooklyn New York and have lived here for over 3 years now. This place is so beautiful and the staff here is very professional. Anything you need or any questions you have, the staff is 100% willing to help out. The staff is always warm and caring and the grounds are beautiful! I am very happy at Wexford Village and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.

Wexford Village apartments are in a great location, close to Charleston and Huntington. The apartments are very nice with lots of amenities, the clubhouse and pool are very well maintained. Since living here if any problems occur the office staff and maintenance are very quick to respond. This is a great safe place to live with you family.
The location of the apartments, less than a mile from I-64, makes it ideal for a commute to downtown Charleston in less than thirty (30) minutes, even on poor weather or congested days. Payments and maintenance requests can be made online. Technical issues with the website do occasionally occue but the Clubhouse staff has been helpful in bypassing problems. Appliances in tje apartment are acceptable but not top of the line. The refridgerator lacks a door mounted ice cube/water dispenser. The walk in closets are HUGE; I have had bedrooms smaller! Nice feature: first and second floor apartments effectively have first floor access due to sloped terrain. Move in was a breeze. Clubhouse amenities are noce, billiard room is actually quite classy. Pool and hot tub are clean and well lit.
