Westwood Apartments - SP Lafayette LLC

Interior renovation was nice, but they needed to do some work on the exterior. The balcony above mine fell down in chunks and nothing was done to remedy the danger of the situation. They ended up patching the balcony about a month later. It just felt unsafe. The railings were also in need of repair.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They messed up my application, drug the process out passed 3 days so that I couldn't get a refund after I cancelled. They made mistakes on my application and I have the emails saying that they are sorry, it was her first lease because she's new! They told me I needed a co-signer and ran credit on that person only to find out that I did not need a co-signer! So I don't get a refund because they made mistakes! I applied for a renovated apt with a balcony and they told me I was getting a basic unit, not renovated and no balcony! Prices change daily. I have all of the emails. This place is a joke! Don't recommend at all.

there are good things and bad things about this complex, like any complex, but you get what you pay for. i don’t understand why people have gripes about the rental managers; they’re very kind and helpful. the walls are pretty thin (we can hear our neighbors across the hall. but they’re also pretty loud people in general). maintenance takes a bit to come fix things, but he’s also nice and gets the job done. the hallways stink because people smoke. love that the color scheme is gray, it’s a lot better than other places that are all beige. overall, it’s a good, affordable place to live when you’re first starting out!

Horrible experience. Staff talks to tenants as if they are not humans. Apartment come with marks on floor and marks throughout the apartment. When you move out they take your deposit and use everything against you. They will take your deposit and use it toward “cleaning” when it is there job to do a final clean. Not supposed to come out of tenants pockets. Also waited almost 4 months to get my deposit. They never fix anything in apartments. Called corporate number and they are just as rude. HORRIBLE experience. Also if you have kids not a good idea, everyone there smokes marijuana & smells throughout the whole building.

Lived their in 2015-2016 Lived there in the middle of the management change when it became integrity. Never really needed maintenance for anything. Only time we did was to fix garbage disposal and the guy at the time did a wonderful job and he was nice. Our two bedroom apartment was spacious. Management was nice and understanding. Only issues. When they remodeled the apartment and didn’t use carpet you can hear every footstep the neighbors made and the upstairs neighbor let their kid(s) run around the apartment all day. Also when I was on the balcony they threw dirt on me from theirs. Downstairs neighbor knocked on our door when I had friends over and one of my friends had her child over. The neighbor complained and we apologized and when I shut the door he punched my door. After that he would stare at my bf and I all the time coming in the building and I know longer felt safe there. The windows were terrible! Stink bugs ALWAYS came through the windows during the summer and fall. We had to flush 12 or so stick bugs or “kissing” bugs every day. The place occasionally smelled like cigarettes. It came through the windows badly or through the bathroom vents. I still know people who live there and they’ve told me maintenance hasn’t gotten worse and the windows are still crap. But compared to where I’m living now i give it two stars lol the apartment I’m in now I wish I could of gave it none

Westwood is a place to call home. Maintenance is helpful and Manager is professional and friendly. Apartments are updated and utilities included. Wonderful price and location. New updates in apartments, halls, pool, and office. New owners and Management are awesome. I would definitely recommend Westwood!

The apartment's themselves are not bad, but heaven forbid something breaks. It takes the maintenance staff forever to fix it, if they do. The washer in our building alone has broken 3 times in the last 3 months. The last time it broke was a week before Christmas...and it is now January 17 and IT IS STILL NOT FIXED!!! Which is very unacceptable!!
