The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Westside
Highland Management is, without a doubt, one of the worst property management companies I’ve ever dealt with. After living at Westside for over three years, I can confidently say they do not care about their tenants. Rent prices continue to skyrocket, yet they make zero effort to improve the apartments or create a better living experience. Management treats tenants as if they are an inconvenience rather than valued residents. Renewing my lease was a mistake, and I cannot wait to leave this place for a community that actually respects its tenants. If you’re considering renting here, save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. Highland Management is nothing more than a money-hungry operation that disregards the well-being of its residents.
Worst apartment complex in the area. Management is highly, highly unprofessional and aggressive. Mail is lost constantly, cars stolen from the parking lot. Kids run and scream through the halls all day and night. Dog poop all over outside. People smoke meth outside your sliding glass door. Building smells disgusting and is always dirty. Terrible terrible terrible place to live.
I've lived here for two years and will be staying a third. The staff is friendly and responsive, and maintenance is always at our place within a couple of days if we ever have a problem. There have certainly been some HUGE changes in staffing, so past reviews I've noticed aren't 100% applicable anymore. I can't hear any of my neighbors through the walls which is always good, and the building is always kept up and looking nice. It's not the fanciest place to live, but it's definitely a good place.
Worst property I've ever lived in! Management is horrible. The cops are always here just terrible
The staff at Westside always great you with a smile and go out of their way to help. After living here for 2yrs I decided I liked it so much I applied for a part time position! Still working and living here and will not be going anywhere!
I'm writing this for my mom who is 75 and worked hard raising us 4 kids as a single parent she struggles when she moved to West side village apartments the rent was $875 now it's $1075 after one year she has a 2bedroom balcony and bathroom, laundry room for all tenant's to share there's 3parks a day care across the street she has a small mall with stores a liquor store ryles auto parts chinese restuarant pizza lives and arbys she's also right next to rail road tracks she needs help thank you
I live in an apartment complex called Westside Village in Hopkins, Minnesota. There is stagnant/disgusting water where children play right outside the apartment. There are mold spores growing under and in the carpet (probably caused by the stagnant water). There is no emergency lighting when the power goes out, making me "feel" my way back to the apartment in the dark. There is a train-track crossing right beyond the stagnant water puddle, the train comes at all hours of the night and is sure to announce it's presence by blowing its extremely loud horn every time it approaches. The heating element doesn't seem to work without burning whatever is inside it, causing even more air quality issues. My mother passed away last year, and as an only child with no father, I've had to deal with a lot of stresses. It'd be nice if the place i found to live wasn't unlivable.
Westside Village past management was a pain to deal with. It felt like they did not care about the property or residents. The front desk staff was rude most of the time and when she was not in a bad mood her kindness did not seem genuine. The manager was also moody and you never knew how she was going act. The new management follows the rules and is making a huge effort to improve the declining properties look. The buildings are staying clean and problem tenants are being removed. I was going to move but now want to stay as long as I can afford the rent.
