Apartment Reviews at Westside Court Apts
I lived here for two years while attending Georgia Tech. Great apartment for a good price. All issues were promptly resolved. Debbie, who manages the apartment, was a great help and a pleasure to work with.
Change rules irrationally and the apartment is old
When we sign the contract, it said we should notify them 1 month in advance. Then the next year, we received a email says we should notify them 60 days in advance. I came to the office and told the property manager that I'm going to move out on September 26th. She told me that we should leave no earlier than December 1st which is longer than 60 days. And she told me to fill a notify form. That's fine. But she did not have one by hand. She will find it and let me know. I told her that I am available anytime and I waited for more than 6 hours. Nothing happened. I referred a friend to this apartment. When they could not contact my friend, they asked me to do the coordination. I helped more than twice. However, they told me that the referee fee will be paid after the person moved in for two month and paid for the rental for two months. It's a paradox. We pay the rental at the beginning of the month. However, they told me that they will pay me on November while my friend move in on August 16th. It's way more than two months. The apartment is old. The air condition and water heater broke down. When we report the problem, they wait until the last minute to fix it. At then my home was flooded.
I lived there for a year, Joyce the owner is such a great person and I met Garry when he was working there. He always watered the plants and flowers in complex such a sweet guy. And I met Debra later she became the new manager, she always answered my calls and solved any problems right away. Really affordable nice and quiet apartment complex, small but friendly. For that price thats a really good apartment and great location. I only can say great things about that place. The only reason why I moved out is, I wanted to live with my gf and we needed a 1bd apartment. Other then I would live there forever. Nuri
This is my second time living here. I love living here. Carondelet is a small nice community tucked in north midtown. Marek, the maintenance man is great. The water, sewer, trash, and washer/dryer is included in the rent, which is wonderful. I highly recommend Carondelet Apartments.
Nice apartment, good neigbourhood
I liked here for 2 years. I am moving out now because I am relocating to another city. Apartment complex is located in nice and quite neighborhood. Shopping complex and restaurants are very close from this apartment complex. Management of this apartment is good. Debbie, who is managing the apartments, is really excellent and very professional in her work. Any maintenance issue is immediately resolved.
Great Place with Great Manager and Owner!
I have lived there for 4 years. This apartment complex is well maintained. Whenever you need assistance or have any questions, the manager Debbie will address them promptly and politely. I always enjoy interacting with her. It is really great that water, sewer, parking, and trash are covered by your rent. Also Carondelet is located in the midtown area so that you can easily access a number of shops, restaurants, recreation place,s and schools. The owner Joyce is nice and helpful. I highly recommend Carondelet with great family atmosphere.
Good for the price
It's nice and quiet. The house is kind of old but maintained not bad. Good enough for the price.
Nice and Honest community
My boyfriend and I lived here more than a year and then moved out because of job transfer. We were so busy by living in the metro area, so we don't really need too fancy facilities. Here, the price is right, Manager Debbie is super nice and respond everything fast. I have to said for moving in and out, this is the easiest apt I have ever experienced.
Quiet Place to Call Home
I love my neighborhood because it is small and intimate compared to surrounding apartment homes. The landlord is an awesome person who communicates effectively with all residents to address any concerns and makes sure we get any maintenance work done without delay. There is a small room with workout equipment, which is great for days I can't make it to my local gym, and also a laundry room. The apartment is close in proximity to multiple interstate accesses (75 and 285), and there are multiple grocery stores, restaurants, and bars within walking/short driving distance. My only grievance is parking- when there are guests visiting, parking is very limited (this is RARE). Great for college students!
Beautiful place to live
Carondelet apartments is a beautiful place to live. It is being managed and maintained very well. It is peaceful and quiet in the midtown area and very accessible to everything you need like groceries and restaurants that is very walk-able. There is Marta bus station right across the street so it is easy to go around. The staff are very polite and warm that make you feel at home. They are very helpful and will address any concern fast. The offer a very good price for 2 bedroom unit compared to others. I'm really enjoying my stay. I will recommend this place to everyone.
New management makes things worse
The apartment was always sub par for the amount they demand. The stove and the oven are very old and take a long time to work. The bathroom is very small and has this dilapidated look to it. When we had the old management ( 'Carondelet apartments' ), things were done very old school (rent in cheques only, work orders had to be set up either in person or via phone) but at least they had empathy when needed. They used to understand issues and solve them eventually even if they took time. The new management is more technologically advanced ( rent can be paid online, work orders can be set up online) but doesn't care about what you want. They do things their way and if you request something that is specific to you, they have an answer - ' this is how things are being done in every other apartment'. They don't empathise or try to understand your specific issues. With the new management, I can't help but hope for the lease to end soon so I can get out of here. It just doesn't justify the amount of rent you pay for the house and services you get. I would strongly suggest against renting an apartment with them. You would be better off living in the numerous other options right next to it in the neighborhood.
Rent is great, but house is old
We're really happy to live here, it's a nice neighborhood and the rent is fair. The thing is it's an old apartment, when you walk or talk loud your neighbor can hear you quite clearly .You can always find roaches in the house. The gym only has few very old equipments and not maintained at all and it's usually dirty. FWIW, if you want to live in a nice neighborhood and not pay much, this is your place!

Neighborhood - Cross Creek
A small, gated community located just west of Buckhead, Cross Creek hosts a quiet community of families and retired persons. Many of the members of this country club have been residents for many years, creating a sense of close ties and group camaraderie. Because of its secluded nature within a busy part of the city, homes here are in high demand.
With the typical amenities of a country club, including tennis courts, a golf course, a restaurant and several pools, Cross Creek offers residents a place to relax and play all while at home. If you are looking for a community within Atlanta where everyone knows each other, Cross Creek presents an ideal option. Besides the many community events at the country club, neighbors host regular events for each other, and Southern manners and charm remain important here.
