Welcome to Stockton, a dynamic city in California's Central Valley where the San Joaquin River meets an inland seaport. Located 83 miles east of San Francisco, this waterfront city combines historic charm with contemporary living. The housing market presents diverse options, from downtown apartments to residential communities, with current rental rates averaging $1,270 for a one-bedroom apartment and showing a modest annual increase of 0.5%. The rental landscape includes options ranging from studios at $1,065 to four-bedroom homes at $2,731.
Life in Stockton revolves around the waterfront district and recreational spaces like Weber Point Events Center and Victory Park. Pixie Woods, a family amusement park operating since 1954, remains a local landmark. The University of the Pacific campus contributes to the city's educational landscape, while the restored Bob Hope Theatre and the Haggin Museum showcase the area's arts and history.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Westpointe Apartments
There are tenants with more than two cars and just move them around so they don’t think that no one’s using them. There should be a rule that two cars per apartment or depending on how many live there but you should be the minimum. They’re always putting notices on the doors, but not complying with the rules. staff is rude except maintenance and there’s never security at night. I’m still here because the cost-of-living is too much.
Best thins first... the maintenance crew are very efficient, friendly, and quick to respond to requests. Trash removal throughout the complex has improved. After that, it is mostly downhill as everything else is CONSISTENTLY-INCONSISTENT! The office staff is “overly” friendly (fake), inefficient, will not admit to frequent clerical errors, they are quick to issue legal notices before verifying their accuracy, and are frequently not available during posted office hours. Because they placate to the tenants, are stern and not flexible or forthcoming, relationships with many of the tenants are poor. The office staff makes no attempts to build more positive relationships with tenants, almost as if they do not want or possibly fear the interaction. The pools are OK most of the time, but not always. The three spas are in poor condition and rarely trusted for used by the tenants. Posted memos have said pools are only available Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm - closed on holidays. No trash receptacles are provided, so the laundry rooms are usually strewn with debris and rarely thoroughly cleaned. Though greatly improved, trimming of bushes and shrubs, mowing of grass, and weed removal is inconsistent throughout the complex. There is a lot of really loud music played by many who loiter by their cars in the parking areas throughout the week and weekends; so loud sometimes that the buildings vibrate with the sound of the base. Unsupervised young children play, loudly, late into the night. If security is available it is office hours of 8am – 5pm Monday through Friday. There is no security in the evenings or on weekends or holidays when it could benefit the tenants.
My car was just stolen from the complex this week. People here keep trash everywhere and don't know how to put it in the trash bins. Smells like pot all the time as you walk around. My kids Didn't even want to come down to visit me on the weekends with how bad it smells. There are gates that are supposed to be locked but people leave stick or rocks in them that allows people without keys to get in and that's how my car was stolen. for the price you can get MUCH nicer apartments that are new and where you don't have to worry about your stuff getting stolen.
If you like trees falling on your car and the office people say it’s not their problem or if you like kids ringing your door bell and running around. Or if you like be eaten alive by mosquitoes from the nasty spas and pools that are located around here. Or if you like stuff to be stolen off your patio or front porch while you’re at work. Or all the homeless people walking around all hours of the night. Or the fact that the Laundry rooms are always locked under some kind of repair. Or if you like gas and other stuff to be taken from your cars. Or that fact that these are just over priced nasty apartments to live in. If you like all that stuff then this is the perfect place to live. Best of luck. Ps it’s never the offices problem nor will they do anything to help with anything Except for raising the price of rent on you.
Its good nice and clean apartments it has nice maintenance and nice manager always there too helped you.
It's not very big nor is it very fancy but it's our home. It's perfect for my little family. We are blessed to have this apartment after going through so much hard courses. Me and my husband are young parents raising our little 2 year old, we both work really hard to support him & his future. This would be a very great opportunity for us and we would finally have enough to save for his college tuition!!
