I have lived here for awhile and am moving out soon for a change of scenery. I do not believe these are quite worth the cost they are priced as their upgrades are now about a decade old but they are clean and decently kept. Office staff is great until there is a problem; the property manager and account manager will not call you back in a timely manner unless you have the time to continually call them until someone will speak with you. Communication to residents is sporadic for some issues and at times confusing but they do have a text communication system. Their solution to any issues regarding other residences was to call the non-emergency police line when that doesn't seem appropriate. The purpose of my review mostly is to give credit to how great the maintenance staff is; they overshadow the inconsistencies of the office staff. They respond quickly and have taken care of serious issues (including a busted pipe in my building's wall) thoroughly and in a timely manner!

I lived here for one year. In that time, my basement apartment flooded no less than 5 times. They came out to rectify the situation on the 4th visit, and it helped for awhile, but it never stuck. The first time I got $100 off rent for my damaged items, but nothing else ever happened. My lease ended on August 31, and on July 11 I emailed regarding upgrading to a larger unit. We played phone tag for 7 weeks and I never got any answers. They say they called me twice in that time, but I don't have record of it and they have yet to provide dates and times for those calls. So by the second week of August, I still had no idea what was happening and if I would be moving or not. I needed more space, so I found alternate housing. They then told me that I did not provide enough vacate notice (60 days), despite the fact that I had been trying to leave this specific apartment for nearly 2 months at that point. Now they are making me pay rent until October for a space I don't have keys to. When moving out, I also found mold on several of my items. Unfortunately, I didn't have the insight to take photos, but it is what it is. Throughout all of this, the property manager has been incredibly rude and unhelpful. Do not live at Westminster Apartments.

The apartment buildings are 50 plus years old, and its startibg to fall apart, the walls smell because of age,Maintenance us doped up, and don't know how to do their jobs, they keep raising the prices, but management doesn't make life better.
i adore this community!! i have nothing but GREAT things to say about Westminster Apartments! i am a stay at home mom, so being able to take the kids on walks, to the playground and across the street to baskin robbins is the best. we really enjoy the pool in the summer as well! always clean and very relaxing. we have lived in a few different apartments before coming here and this has by far been our favorite!

As a life long renter, I have had several rental experiences on both ends of the spectrum... my Westminster experience however, has been nothing but positive this far. The application process couldn't have been easier (which was highly appreciated after this roller coaster of a year), and I was beyond pleased with my unit. Perfect size for just me and my pup, clean, and overall really well done. Recommended.
This community is super cute, all black appliances, gray walls, updated cabinetry, white trim, very modern. Very clean, which is key!
They made the moving process so smooth and easy, newer resident, but have no complaints thus far. Love the fitness center and dog park. Clean community, beautiful grounds.
I took a tour today! The property is wonderful. What really sold me was the fitness center.It was AMAZING. Super clean and spacious. The model apartment was just as clean.. not to mention it was decorated beautifully. I decided to place my deposit! I can't wait to live here!!
I have lived in many complexes. This by far is my favorite. The amenities they offer are great, and the apartments themselves are very spacious. I love it here and would definitely recommend!
I have lived here for going on 2 years and I love it! Maintenance is wonderful and time efficient, and the office staff is very helpful. They are pet friendly and have a dog park AND tanning beds available for us to use 24/7. I would recommend this place to anyone looking.
Don’t be fooled by these idiots. They will get you for everything you own. They have bugs and don’t fix the issue after sending the same guy out 3-4 times. My washer never works!!! And it’s been replaced since I’ve moved in!! They don’t want to help me anymore because according to them (they thought I was on hold but I wasn’t) I am “the complainer of building 4 is on the phone AGAIN what do I tell him this time??” That was from a girl named Cathy who has an attitude when I started talking about my issues. This place is hell. Don’t live here!!!!
This place sucks. I currently live here and calledthem because my air went out and they said they wouldn’t come out on the weekend because it wasn’t considered an emergency!! So my son and I are currently sitting in our apartment and it’s 80 degrees inside! My neighbors are always so loud and I’m pretty sure they have a roach problem or a bed bug problem because I see a pest control guy walk in and out of the same unit at least once a week. I’m right by county line road, traffic sucks there and it’s so loud and noisy that my dog constantly barks because he thinks that someone is here. Parking is awful, literally can only park like a mile from your apartment. Oh and that new “manager” they have is worthless. He will tell you what you want to hear to your face and then not call you back for at least 2 weeks and then it’s a different answer from before. I CANT WAIT UNTIL MY LEASE IS UP

This place is infested with bed bugs, isn't the first time either. Do yourself a favor and stay away!!!
I have never been so happy to leave an apartment complex. Even after I left, there was a mix up with Duke energy and they messed up the date I wanted my services to end. The apartment made me pay for their charges going in and out of my old apartment and the energy THEY used. I had not lived in that apartment for months. The staff is a joke, and every time I had questions each staff member would give me different answers. Do NOT live here.
I moved into Westminster Apartments one year ago and I had renewed my lease to live in this community for another year. If someone would have asked me if I would be renewing my lease for another year I would not have believed them. I am notorious for due diligence when it comes to major life decisions. I am a single mother of an 8 year old and quite frankly the renovations are absolutely exceptional, but the safety of my son and ease of location are the heavier reasons that encouraged me to renew. I can stand at the front door of my new home and I am about 500 yards of any and all shopping establishments, I am also around 7 miles of university of Indianapolis and of course a little past that is Down town Indianapolis. The management staff are professional and create a hassle-free mentality that I can say is greatly appreciated with my son in tow. The are committed to their residents and ensuring quality interactions. I have on more then once occasion experienced staff members, maintenance, and management go above and beyond to accommodate my needs. The pool is fantastic as well as the tanning beds and workout facilities is fully equipped. The maintenance and rent are all manageable online or through an app, making things more convenient than I have ever experienced as a person that constantly on the go. Finally, the cabinets are immaculate (very important to me personally), walking distance to the major bus route, and the quick responses I’ve receive from maintenance staff when there were an issues has convinced me, undeniably, that this place for me. I greatly appreciate the experience and felt that there are enough negative reviews in the word, Westminster has improved exponentially and will soon be the place to live on the cusp of Johnson County. Convenience and Consideration: TO THE MAX.
From the moment we showed interest in this complex, the staff has really gone above and beyond to help make sure we were able to call this place home! We have a 2 bedroom town home which is a nice upgrade and schism he from our old apartment. We love end upgrades, and being able to wash in our home. My only complaint is that the walls are a little thin, luckily my neighbors aren't noisy. Overall we have loved it here since we first layed eyes in the place!
Everything about apartment hunting is stressful, but when I came to Westminster it was the exact opposite of that. I was treated like an equal, like I was walking with a friend to look at apartments. Meliah was so helpful and truly cared about what I was needing. Not once did I feel pressured. Once I moved in she kept in touch with me to make sure that everything was going good, and even had a welcome home goody bag!! I haven't had any problems at all with the staff or other residents. The maintenance guys are great and very helpful!!!
These apartments had a notorious reputation 2 years ago, but they've gone through a major renovation that made these into nice apartments. Perfect for a small family wanting something thats not far from Indianapolis but not wanting the busy city life, they have a modest fitness center with 3 different machines for chest, back, and legs, tons of cardio and free weights up to 30 pounds (dont cancel you gym membership if you're into weight lifting) and a very nice pool. Its also good for college kids going to IUPUI or possibly Franklin College being about 15-20 minutes from both.
I love my apartment here! The renovations are beautiful, the grounds are well kept, and the staff is so helpful as well. This is a quiet complex and great for families. Overall this is an amazing place!
Being a former member of the military I have lived in many different places and Westminster Apartments is by far one of the best places to live. I have been here for almost three years and I love this place. From the first time I came to look at an apartment home I knew this was a place for me to put down some roots and stop moving. Coming into the complex the landscaping is beautiful and they are well maintained. The staff here is great and always greets me with a smile. I only had to call on maintenance a couple of times and the service was wonderful they came on time and did their work quickly and efficiently. One of the best amenities inside the home is it comes with a full size washer and dryer, saving me time and money .I also love the 24/7 access to the fitness center and business center. The new pool is great and very inviting. As far as how quite the apartments are I sometimes forget that I have neighbors. I have found my home here at Westminster Apartments.

I lived in a two bedroom apartment, then outgrew the space and moved to a townhouse. Currently, I live in a three bedroom townhouse. Compared to other townhouses in Greenwood, these are by far the best that I've seen. There are updated black appliances, granite-looking laminate counter tops, and larger windows in each room. The remodeling that has taken place is some of the best I've seen in apartments around. I've not had any issues with maintenance. Since most appliances, like fixtures, etc. are new, I've not had to make many calls for maintenance. The one time I had to call maintenance was for an issue with the dishwasher not working properly. They called Sear's and had the dishwasher repaired under its current warranty. That was taken care of in less than two days. Pretty fast in my opinion since Sear's had to come out. If you like space to feel like a home, but aren't in the market to buy a home, stop at Westminster and take a look! I've never heard my neighbor in the townhouse next to us. I know they exist, because I see them in the parking lot. I've never had any noise issues as it seems the walls are well insulated. The utilities run total around $100/month for gas and electric combined. However, I keep the air on 68, so I know my electric bill will be more expensive. These are great townhouses if you're in the market. I've enjoyed living here! (And no I don't work for this company. Just an honest person writing an honest review.)
With the renovations and the friendly staff, this place is a great place to call home. Right across the street from the mall and near so many shopping places, it's also a great location. As long as you know what you're looking for and ask the right questions, the office can help with any questions. I would definitely recommend to a friend.
I have a 2 BR townhome. I am pleased with my living quarters. Things I like: the quick responses from the office staff and maintenance the fact that the front door of my house is always lit up the walls aren't plain white, they actually have a little color the bedrooms are decent in size the kitchen has a good amount of storage space our utility bills are reasonable the rent prices are reasonable its only 1 block from my job. the pool, fitness center and technology room are open 24/7 ability to pay online the $500 referral program The things I don't like: no handicap accessible sidewalk or curbs not able to have a real BBQ grill
Every experience we have had has been outstanding. Wonderful staff, clean well kept landscaping, lawns, parking and even trash areas. Our townhome is in perfect condition, with top quality paint, floor covering and fixtures. Very quiet, we feel like we are living in a single family HOME. We would recommend Westminster to anyone looking for a new place to truly live.
Every experience we have had with Westminster has been outstanding ! We have always felt welcomed and invited, and we even had an issue with qualifying and they never once made us feel bad for needing a co signer. Our townhome is in perfect condition. From the paint, to the floor covering and fixtures. No corners we cut here to save the owners money. The landscaping, lawns, parking areas and trash areas are very clean, well maintained, and always maintained to the highest level. The quietness and lack of noise makes us feel like we are living in a single family home. We enjoy everything, the pool, the workout facility, tanning beds. The technology center has even gotten me out of a bind when I needed to print a document and ran out of ink, and nice for anyone who may not have or want in home internet. We would recommend Westminster to anyone looking for a place to truly live.
I have only been here for a little over 2 months now, but my place at Westminster is the best apartment I have ever rented. The staff are AMAZING, the absolute most friendly staff and understanding people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They have made major ( multi million dollar ) improvements to the apartments here and this place is just fantastic. Definitely recommend at least checking the place out.
The new renovations are awesome! The kitchen is my favorite! They even have washers and dryers in the units, at no extra cost. They have great amenities: tanning beds, huge nice pool, pool side yoga classes, fitness center, and computer center. I would recommend anyone looking to check out Westminster! It's a great quiet neighborhood, yet close to everything you need!
As a guy, I will say, there are nice chicks living here! As a renter, I will say, that I'm glad I'm here! It's perfect south side living AND it's affordable, clean and I just dig it!
The renovated apartments are gorgeous. The office staff is extremely friendly and nice. Great area since the new management took over. I love my 2br 1ba apartment. The construction happens during the day when Im at work so it doesnt bother me. Definitely check it out.
just because its getting a paint job dont be fooled they needed to be torn down mold bed bugs roaches original equipment from the sixtys no maint people no play ground dogs go where they want not enough parking horrible laundry beware
