Property Ratings at Westlake Meadows Apartments
I've lived here for a few years now, the apartments themselves have the usual issues that come with old buildings that aren't properly maintained: bad insulation, no AC, poor sound dampening, etc. But you can visit and see if those issues matter to you, for me, they didn't. But the issue that you can't learn about until you live here is how the management is. Well, it's equally poor. They forget about issues you make them aware of and they try to squeeze you for as much money as they can. Heck, they just told me they want to raise the rent by $150 ... on Thanksgiving. What a way to enjoy the holidays. "Pay us more to live at a place getting progressively worse. Happy holidays."
My wife and I have lived here for several years. The community is quiet and safe. We love walking around the neighborhood. The apartment is older and needs updating. Our biggest issue is with the windows. They are old and need replacing because some of them don't seal completely. For other issues, we have always been able to get help from the maintenance team. Nate is always kind, respectful, knowledgeable and dependable. I know that if something comes up, Nate and his team will be able to take care of it. Overall, the value is good which is my we have stayed here for several years instead of moving to other apartments in the area.
