Westgate-Northgate Apartments

I moved in a month ago and find the community to be clean, quiet and well-maintained with lots of nice neighbors. The ladies in the leasing office are professional and nice to work with and the complex feels well-managed. My apartment was spotlessly clean upon move-in. The maintenance men responded immediately to a couple of small requests and were courteous and friendly. I like having my own assigned parking spot and everything you could possibly want - stores, restaurants, pharmacy, post office, hospital, etc. is within 5 minutes. It's been all good so far and I look forward to getting settled in my new apartment.

It's excellent bcz everything included. No dishwasher but it's fine me and my wife love it.

For the most part, this was a good first apartment, it's only two of us so it worked for the time being. After putting in the application and getting approved, we were told it would be about 2 weeks to get into an apartment due to someone moving out and cleaning times. A month later to the day, we finally got the keys, apartment wasn't cleaned although the carpets were just steamed. First day the toilet was jiggly and needed to tighten. Called the office and the guys just shoved a chunk of cardboard under the thing and left. Months later, there was an issue with the water heater and raw sewage had spilled into our storage room, they cleaned it up with a mop and had people come out to steam clean the room and carpet. Overall the price is okay for what you get. I do suggest to go for an updated apartment if you can, the non-updated have literally One small drawer in the kitchen and not very nice carpeting. And invest in bug killer. They have had the building sprayed and that worked for the main area i guess but we find beetles and spiders (dead from us spraying) all the time, and that's with a door sweep on the door and spraying the area of the apartment at least once a month. Over all it's not the worst apartment or the best. Controlling the pests more, a new pet policy and updating more apartments would make this place top notch.
