The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Western Hills Apartments
I had mixed feelings about this place: It was an excellent location, near 3 bus lines going to/from campus, in a quiet neighborhood near a walking trail and quick access to stores/major roads and a garage included (great for Iowa winters). However, my unit (could be an exception) was not very clean when I received it, and had numerous issues throughout my year there, including rats during winter and grey water backup into my kitchen sink and shower drain on at least 3 different occasions, two of which were severe enough to have caused the apartment to flood if I had not been there.
