Wahpeton is a small city on the Minnesota state line, about fifty miles south of Fargo. The community has a rich history, and many of the buildings downtown (including the iconic Richland County Courthouse) date back well over a century. The small Downtown district along Dakota Avenue serves as a popular hangout for residents, hosting a popular collective of locally-owned specialty shops, cafes, and neighborhood bars.
Manufacturing has long been the main industry in the area, and several plants operate in town and nearby. The Red River flows along the eastern border of the city, and on its banks you’ll find lush green parks and the Bois de Sioux Golf Course, offering terrific opportunities to spend time outdoors.

Property Ratings at Westdale Apartments
Poor management, they look super nice on the inside, but it very poorly made, i wouldn’t recommend to anybody! they’re better apartments where you can get your moneys worth, plus they charge you hundreds of dollars just to be fully moved out of there.
these apartments were built as fast and cheaply as possible, it might look pretty but there will be gaps in the floor, everything breaking. the on-site manager is rude, unprofessional and doesn’t communicate with you. They do not care about the person at all- they just want your money. as much as they can get. the overall manager (jenna) who has left now was HORRIBLE to work with, the current seems better but ultimately is the exact same as the one before. the only good thing is they have in unit laundry but you can go to any other building and spend less by paying for laundry and not these over priced apartments. during the winter expect to have to put salt down, dig the snow if you want to leave, and the handicapped spaces will be iced over for weeks. save your time, money & sanity by going anywhere else.
Get ready to be wowed by how you will need maintenance every month because of how often stuff breaks in these apartments. Also, be ready to deal with the worst on-site management you will ever have to deal with. You are charged at a premium for an "upscale" apartment. When the reality is that these places were built as quickly and as cheaply as possible. The property manager attempted to enter my apartment with her key twice for unknown reasons and after the 2nd attempt, I had to contact her boss to get her to stop. The snow removal for this location is almost nonexistent so get ready to dig yourself out of this location in the winter times. The walls are paper thin and good luck getting a response from management if you bring anything up about people having extremely loud dogs/children living above, below, or next to you. I would give this place a 0 if I could.
