The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Westbury Apartments – Where Style, Comfort...
We just moved here from Arizona and Westbury was the complex we fell in love with! We love the use of the pool and the fitness center. The staff is super friendly and always greets you when you walk in the office.
Leadership lacks the ability to create meaningful relationships and is lacking in both the people skills and problem solving department. The price was right (as right as it could be with general rental properties) at the time but you get what you pay for in the end. Renter beware.
I’ve never lived here. I have a friend that lives here. I’ve never heard of an apartment complex that has resident parking but no guest parking. They have 24 hour towing and if you aren’t a resident with the complex and/ or have no permit (and I’m not talking about the covered spots you pay extra for) you can and will get towed. I spoke to a nice gentleman at the towing company directly. He looked up the complex and said yeah there’s not guest parking and would recommend moving to street parking. Mind you, this is in a residential area with plenty of spots to put in visitor parking. I’m sure the home owners in the area just love all the people parking in front of their homes on an over crowded street and guests get a warm welcome by the complex. If you have no friends or family, this place will be perfect for you!

Thank you for your review. Policies have been put into place to ensure that all Westbury Residents have parking available to them. We apologize if your experience as a guest of our property did not meet your expectations. We take all comments into consideration and are always reviewing policies to see where we can improve.
The Westbury apartments themselves are just fine. Nothing fancy, but decent. However, the management is an utter nightmare. It was a hassle to get any issue taken care of, and they have very strange and strict rules (for instance, no "dead plants" visible from outside or you risk being fined). The most frustrating is I moved out in August, it's now December and I still have not been able to receive my security deposit. That's $700 back from Westbury I still have not received. After calling, emailing, and going in person the issue has not been resolved. Do not rent here unless you want to live in an overpriced apartment with shoddy management.

I was very impressed with the almost immaculate appearance of my one-bedroom apartment when I first looked at it. Everything was very clean and in good condition. I was delighted there was a washer and dryer in the unit, although the washer is extremely noisy during some parts of the cycles. All the staff I have interacted with so far are helpful and do their best to keep the complex safe and in good condition. Anytime I have a maintenance request, the work is done in a timely and very professional manner, which I deeply appreciate. I wish the heat source was gas rather than electricity. The living room electric wall heater does not warm up the area very well, and the bathroom gets no heat at all, unfortunately. There is also a baseboard electric heater in the bedroom, but I never turned it on in the winter and just left the bedroom door closed, in order to keep my electric bill down. Overall, I am glad I moved to this complex. It was a good decision for me.
We have now been resident here at Westbury for nearly a year. Having noticed the complex on a 'drive-by', we felt encouraged to take a closer look. The management were extremely courteous and very generous with their time during our initial enquiry. The complex is very well maintained. The manager, Ericka, is very friendly and always greets you with a smile. The entire staff are quite experienced, efficient, and prompt in responding to any questions you may have or requests for maintenance. The maintenance team is also very prompt in their response-time - usually within 24 hours; are quick to fix or replace as needed; and clean up before leaving! The landscaping is beautifully maintained offering a very pleasant and serene environment throughout the year. Thank-you Westbury! Jennifer and Tim Walker
I have lived at Westbury apartments for almost 4 yrs. I got to say the staff is very friendly. When there's a problem they take care of it as soon as they can. The management Erkia always has a smile on her face and very friend and the same for the other staff in the office. Maintenance always taken care of things as quickly as they can and friend. I would recommend it's a very family friendly.
With how expensive living the Portland area is getting, I was thankful for to find this place. The rent is reasonable for a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment and the place itself is nice and spacious. The management team made my complicated move in smooth and painless. From renting a garage early to not moving in until almost 2 months after being approved, they were awesome and understanding. Special shout out to the assistant manager Vanessa for how awesome she was through out the process!
I just moved in but everything so far has been good, the issues when had when moving in were delt with within the first 5 days of our move in date. Vanessa in the main office was wonderful she answered every question we had and had our move in packet ready to go when we got to the office to make our final payment.
When we came to visit the property it was a little alarming that there were two sheriffs outside talking to a family in the parking lot. Despite our impression, there is no air conditioning in the apartment and we spent most of our summer anywhere but home because of how unbearable it was. When the winter came the lack of insolation leaves it freezing inside. When we tried to turn our baseboard heaters we were pretty upset of the two bedrooms, neither actually had heating, when you turn the knob nothing turns on. The kitchen heater was the only one that actually worked. No matter who I was dealing with in the leasing office they are very short with you and don’t even look you in your eyes when making request to fix anything. Our fridge was missing shelves. Our apartment has quite a bit of things I would’ve expected to be fixed when they turn apartment over in between residents. Our door was dented and the lock is broken and so for the first few months we have to pull and jiggle the handle to lock and unlock the doors. I also am not sure why the area has so many spiders and random bugs consistently getting into the apartment although we don’t open the windows and only have the front door open long enough to walk in. The Jacuzzi is luke warm at best and the jets are more like pressure washers. I also think it is a tad ridiculous to pay a pet security deposit and pet rent that is $30 a month. I think it should be one or the other. Most apartments charge $10 a month. Also, its very, very noisy. Right next to a main road there were almost no nights I wasn’t woken up by sirens or trains. You should also know your neighbors will be the questionable type. The first four months we lived at Westbury we had Sheriffs knocking on our doors asking if we have seen our neighbors. This went on for a really long time and it was kind of a weird feeling that we were being interrogated two to three times a week about our neighbors when we pay as much as we do for rent in what I thought was a nice area. Also, I have never in my life lived somewhere where management saw my guests in the parking lot and asked them what they were doing there and who they were here to see. I thought it was very rude that I invited friends over to visit for a few hours and they were treated like that. We chose not to renew our lease and look for somewhere else a little more inviting. I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend.
This is a great place to live! Very spacious, clean, and easily accessible to shopping and 217. The only thing I don't like about it is the steep pet policy. With the high pet fee and extra rent it made it so I never wanted to get a pet while living here. Besides that I love this place and I would highly recommend it!
I just would like to say we have lived here for over a year now and I would recommend these apartments to anyone! We had to move to the Beaverton area for work and we looked at several places and this was the right one. The manager Erika really cares about the tenants as well as the other staff, they make you feel like family! The grounds are upkept very well and Shawn and John from maintenance are awsome!
I've been living here for a year now, and as a resident during that time I have gained some positive and negative reviews. First of all the windows need elbow grease to open, the screens have holes in them making them useless and the water heater takes up all of the closet space. When I looked at Westbury online at apartments.com, it clearly stated it had air-conditioning. However, we have found that not to be true. (And spending 90 days at home with the windows open doesn't exactly keep you cool). Westbury recently installed a new jacuzzi, but I have never seen a more disgusting pool in my life. I wonder if there is even mantinence staff for that section, or if they just let nature do its own thing. My biggest negative review would be the intense spider infestation. Just today walking up the stairs to my front door, there were 6 spider webs with very not so friendly or helpful buddies...and obviously with broken screens it is impossible to keep them out. On a lighter note, I work as a catering chef and must say I was quite happy with the kitchen. Quite a lot of cubbord space and room to whip up something for a dinner party. Having heating is necessary in the winter, and the water heater for the showers have never failed me. I also am a fan of the nook for your personal washer and dryer, much preferable than having to walk somewhere to do your laundry or worse- paying in spare change! The park in the middle of the complex is beautiful, and having a picnic area with a grill is convinient for parties. The complex also has its own car washing station! Living on the second floor with high ceilings makes the whole apartment feel bigger, and with the fresh paint it really makes you feel at home. All in all, it's really not a bad place for the price and will probably renew my lease as the people have been good to me. I do hope you all read to the end, as I always like to leave the positive on the mind!
Considering the other options we had around the immediate area, Westbury seemed to fit our needs. It's conveniently located between Farmington Road and TV Highway, with areas of interest close by (food, groceries, etc.) It's fairly decent for what we are paying for, especially in the current market. I didn't expect it to be a perfect place; the balcony area definitely needed some work, and I would've preferred that I didn't have to write as much as I did when we did the initial inspection. It's not a quiet neighborhood, however, living so close to a busy train track and experiencing very few of incidents with strangers around this part of Beaverton. You also will get your fair share of noisy neighbors, like you would in your typical apartment escapades, but I'm disappointed that upon reporting these types of problem to Westbury's management, they just referred me to report the incident with the police. Overall, it's a nice enough place to live if you are no stranger to the apartment scene. My stay so far reflects a solid 3/5, and I would continue to stay if it meant that we couldn't find another complex in a better area and priced competitively with Westbury.
I have lived at the Westbury for 8 years and it really is home. I cannot imagine being anywhere else! My one bedroom apartment is 700 sq feet and has loads of storage. I love that There is an entry way with a large coat closet and plenty of space for an entry table and art. The large bathroom also has its own linen closet with ample shelves in addition to the vanity storage. The galley kitchen has plenty of cabinet and opens up to the main living space, where I have created a breakfast bar with a bistro table. The living area features a three panel sliding door that brings in nice natural light. There is also a wonderful laundry area with full size non stacked appliances! There is enough space in the main living area for a seating/ TV area as well as a corner office space with bookshelves. The large bedroom easily fits my queen bed, dresser, end table and makeup vanity. I have recommended The Westbury to many friends that have become new residents. The management and maintenance team have been here for years and are always helpful. I also love hacking the 24 hour gym, which has new equipment and the pool and hot tub on site. I have considered moving over the years, but nothing has stacked up to the value and amenities of The Westbury. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
