Named for the historic Revolutionary War Battle that took place there, Great Bridge is a unique community situated just nine miles south of Downtown Chesapeake. The area enjoys amazing surroundings thanks to the Elizabeth River and other bodies of water scattered throughout the area. You can find charming single-family homes and waterfront apartments with dock access too. An active community, Great Bridge residents love to get out and enjoy the weather and natural surroundings. You’ll find restaurants, bars, and fitness centers galore along Cedar Road, along with Bells Mill Park and a few shopping centers. With proximity to State Routes 17 and 168 and Interstate 64, Great Bridge offers an ideal location for a those who commute for work. Property Ratings at Westbridge Commons
The office staff are so terrible and rude. They don’t want to do basic maintenance. Every issue your apartment has is somehow your fault. Rats, roaches, everything is leaking, smoke smell throughout ( I don’t smoke), water dripping from upstairs unit into my unit. This place SUCKS!
Nice neighbors and no complaints. You get what you pay for, so no frills or anything. Saw a few baby roaches at the beginning, but haven’t seen them since the exterminator came.
Roach infested and rodents running around in the maintenance closets of the apartment. Property management isn’t respectful at all.
My experience here was stressful. I had roaches everywhere. I spent more time out my own place then being there. It never became home. I’ve complained numerous times but it was always a quick fix and I didn’t feel it was taken seriously. I’m glad I found another place that def. feels like home and my voice of concern is heard.
Though the price is affordable. And the maintenance people are nice. Our neighbors are unbearable. Location is great. But you don't get much for your money.
