West Park Manor

Pros- Good location and surrounding area, good local resturaunts within walking distance, nearby to the shore. Cons- Buildings are old and in need of repair. Balconies failed inspection and took over a year to fix due to mismanagement. This left residents without balconies and no compensation was offered. Concerning stress cracks in walls, brushed off by management. High rent increases. Rent increased by 5-10% per year. Overall- Not recommended

Everything in the apartment is falling apart. My neighbor upstairs is horrible, leaves the dog home alone all day long who barks and cries all day. They flooded our apartment when they decided to not turn off the bath. Our hardwood floors are raising and buckling. Dealing with mold, trip hazard, horrible landlord and horrible neighbors. Can’t wait to move.

The lady in the office Jeena doesn’t know what she is doing. Says one thing does another. I would find somewhere else to live. Apartment’s aren’t even nice. As a new tenant moving in you have to pay a water bill for everyone who lives there. The people who have lived there for years do not pay water. Do yourself a favor and find a nicer apartment and don’t be ripped off. MJ

Just learned that West Park Manor in Ocean Twp new owners are making all residents take away all porch and balcony decorations. So you pay high rent and can't enjoy your balcony and porch. Beware everyone who rents here. New owners get with the program. People want to enjoy their apartments and that is considered living space. Don't punish all bc of some. Hope everyone moves out on you. Lots of other places with cheaper rents. Walk away friends bc this is so wrong when you can't enjoy the outdoors on "YOUR" rented space, Email went out today 6/27/22 all residents are furious.

There's a lot of closet space. There's an air conditioner in both bedrooms and the living room. Hardwood floors, tenants must provide carpets. The kitchen in the two bedroom apartments is about 20 square feet smaller than the kitchen in the one bedrooms, something that bugs my wife. But the kitchen has all new appliances, including a dishwasher. Rent is $1375 but that's the going rate for garden apartments in Monmouth County right now. Rent includes heat & water.

located off West Park Ave in Ocean township, less than a mile from highway 35; you have access to a great number of locally owned businesses that can accommodate a wide variety of needs. We occupy a one bedroom and have 5 closets. Moderate counter space in the kitchen. The bedroom fits a king bed and her crib as well as a few dressers. This wing of apartments in the West Park Manor complex is right behind the warehouse chain BJ's, where trucks unload in the early morning hours. This is only slightly intrusive and my husband and light sleeping toddler have grown accustomed. The maintenance men work promptly and are not only polite but quite friendly. Wish there was a playground in the complex. While there are a number of parks in the area, they are not really within walking distance. It's quiet in so far as there are not rambunctious parties and the police are not here every other minute as you find in some garden apartment complexes.

My sister and elderly mother have been treated with kindness and respect by everyone at West Park Manor. They have made what could have been a difficult experience much easier to handle for both of them. Thank you all!! My mom and sister look forward to becoming a part of the neighborhood.
