West on Murray Apartments

Poorly Managed. Poorly maintained. The "amenities," are GREATLY over exaggerated. I don't know what they mean by "concierge," but if you mean a terrible tour of the complex...? Laundry facilities are LAUGHABLE! Half are closed, and the ones that ARE open, are FILTHY!!! The machine steal your money, and BARELY work. Management changes every other month. Maintainence does NO MAINTAINENCE. Pool is gross. Sauna doesn't work. The back DOESN'T match all of the renovation done to the front. It allows you to see just how busted up the buildings are. The "playground," looks like it's used to do either executions, or human sacrifices. AND to top it ALL off, the complex itself, looks like it's trying to be swallowed by an enormous sink hole. Overly priced. Overly exaggerated. HORRIBLY mismanaged. If I could, I'd give it zero stars. Avoid this place at ALL cost!!!

All of these people are morons and they illegally hold security deposits because who can afford to take them to court?? No one can?!! They literally hire anyone who wants a break on their rent reguardless of there personable/communication skills. Management changed 4 times in one year. There maintance staff has a garage with a fridge full of beer and it took them an hour to change my front door knob.... please avoid this place! It’s nasty and run down and just bad vibes all around. The location is amazing but not even worth it. Wish you could give zero stars. Please do your research before moving here. They have sooo many horrible reviews on multiple platforms!! Not worth it!!!!! Also they creepishly lock the door to there leasing office which was recently an apartment turned office and it’s weird. If you’re in there you need to hAve it unlocked and welcoming...

If you could give negative stars, I would. This property has been thoroughly ravaged by Affinity Property Management. Cutting down and pulling out of landscaping. Half done projects around the whole complex. Removal of necessary garbage bins resulting in filthy bin areas and garbage all over the place. The pictures online might look like a decent place to live but walk through the whole property and take a careful look at all the buildings. You will find rot, moss, and mildew everywhere, balconies falling apart, siding coming off the buildings, and slip hazards all over the place. The maintenance staff is a joke. They do not perform maintenance. They only contract with maintenance companies to perform repairs. Need something fixed asap? Forget about it. The staff in the office is clueless and rude. They do not even understand basic tenant law. They will enter your apartment without notice and then write you up for what they find. If you have no idea what to expect from renting an apartment then you will have no idea that this property management company is terrible. Worst company ever to rent from. I will hopefully be moving soon because this place has become a slum.

If you want shoddy repairs/renovations, an aloof manager, tons of bureaucratic red tape, and excuses... then this is the place for you. I used to rent from Affinity at Willowbrook ( the name before "West on Murray" ) for some time and can tell you that Affinity is a heartless company that will go back on its promises and make excuses to try to shirk responsibility. Without getting into specifics, one of their shoddy repairs resulted in damage to my unit and they tried to make me pay for it until I got a lawyer involved. Stay away!
