Property Ratings at Wellington Manor
I have been trying to get our AC fixed since 04/15 without any luck. It is now 06/09. I have told them numerous times there is a problem but keep being pushed off and back burnered “because our unit is working” and not completely dead. We cannot get it to cool off more than 5-7 degrees running the AC non stop. Our current living conditions along with screenshots from the original request are attached. It’s currently 88 in my unit. My utility usage has doubled compared to last year. They are WELL aware and will not fix the problem. Do not move here especially if you have small children and/or pets.
We have lived here since 2018. Its quiet. Our apartment is so nice and the staff in the office is wonderful. They are always friendly and they make sure if you have any problems it is taken care of quickly. Neighbors are quiet and we love living here !! Thanks to y'all for providing a affordable nice place to live... We love calling it home !!
I met Betty she was super nice and helpful. The grounds are really clean and really well kept.
When we first moved into this complex we immediately noticed that the gutters were full. We contacted the office about it and were told they would send someone to clean them that same day. Well, six months went by and the gutters were yet to be cleaned, this caused leaks to start forming in our ceiling and eventually a visible crack. We reported these problems as they appeared. Once the crack formed, and we had a total of three leaks in our bedroom, all of which were reported, we decided to take our lease up and show them the breach of contract for not taking action with these roof leaks after we had reported them multiple times. It took threat of legal action to finally get maintenance to do their job. The office staff is very friendly. However, maintenance is a joke.
I never saw myself living in a apartment. And here I am with my second lease signed. I have enjoyed living here at Wellington Manor. To start, the staff is very friendly. I feel as though they go above and beyond to make sure the appearance of the apartments is A . They host events for all residents indoors and out. When a big storm came, I've seen people working non stop to fix the rooftops. They keep up with lawn care, which is a huge plus. If you ever had any issues big or small with your apartment they are sure to fix it most of the time the exact day issues were mentioned. Valet trash service is completely awesome. All I have to do is tie my trash bag and set my garbage can outside my door, they come by and pick it up! Having storage on site makes everything much better as well, thanks guys! Need to relax take a dip in one of the pools! Want to cut any calories you could play tennis or go to th r 24hr gym! Grab some soap and wash your car without going and waiting at expensive car washes. Getting outside with little ones and play on the playground is always fun as well. I have enjoyed every minute living here at Wellington Manor which is crazy because I never thought I'd be living in luxury!
I never thought I would love apartment living until moving to Wellington Manor. The apartments are big and spacious and we even have what I call our backyard. Plenty of green grass for the kids to play on. We have apartment community activities like bingo, pool parties and corn hole. I love the office and maintenance staff. We have been here 5 years and I have no complaints.
From the day we moved into our apartment there were bugs! We noticed that when they were getting the apartment ready they did a terrible job repainting and had actually dripped paint all the way down the hall way. We also noticed many dents in the walls which we notated on our move in sheet. On the doorway of one of the closets there is actually a section of wood missing and who knows what is up in there. A week or two after move in we started having storms and we noticed our ceiling leaking in the living room. Pretty heavily actually. When we called the 24 hour maintenance line the man who answered said to call back in the morning because there was nothing he could do about it (He was pretty rude actually). When I called in the morning they basically just told us that several building had leaks and that they did not know when they would be fixed. Three weeks later we were woken up at 7 in the morning by pounding on the roof. They weren't fixing it though they were just laying down tarp. Almost 2 months later and our roof is still tarped and we still have significant leaks. Plastic bowls are almost a permanent fixture in our living room! The people in the office are nice and the neighborhood is quiet but one other thing is when we were looking at the apartment the agent made a joke about the best meth was being cooked in building 500 and laughed and we completely took it as a joke... later my mom told me that her friends that had been living there for some time (moved out the month we moved in)had told her that the guy living below them had been arrested for cooking meth in his apartment! You can imagine the look that we exchanged when she told us that.

The managers, lawn workers, everyone are so nice and courteous. Everyone wave and speak, which is now a days rare. If the water is going to be off for any reason, it is back on in a reasonable amount of time. There was a time when my commode water was spewing everywhere, I called on a Saturday, within about they were here and wasn't complaining, they were actually pleasant. This complex has great amenities, for children, teens and adults. It also located close to everything. I couldn't have made a better selection. Thank you guys for being so wonderful!
