Wellington Gate Apartments

I have been here since 2019 and I don’t have mice because I did the work to keep them out and most people in my building have cats. My issue is they are old and need to be upgraded and maintenance don’t do anything, I try to keep my place up on my own, so if you move here just know your on your own .

The rating needs to be a 0. These people have a mice issue. You put in requests and maintenance does the bare minimum. Maintenance has knocked one time, no announcement, unlocked my door and came in while I was home. Everyone shifts blame as to who takes care of the issue. An instant I was told my situation was emergency and they would be out same day. Waited HOURS no one came then called and they closed my case and said I refused service while I’ve been home all day waiting. Only been here 3 weeks. All in all just find somewhere else to live. They do not care!

I lived here and moved out in 2021, I asked the leasing office over the phone how do I go about not renewing my lease, she gave me instructions that I’ve followed and for some reason my lease still got renewed, I was being charged for an apartment I wasn’t living in ( prices were raised ) and on top of that I wasn’t notified until the last minute ( court got involved ) I am now in debt and these people ruined my life ! I HATE THEM ! And I hope they go out of business very soon..

These apartments aren’t horrible but theyneed major upgrades. No amenities, no security systems, and open access to the building which came be a safety concern. The biggest issue honestly is the crime in the area; there’s literally a homicide weekly and constant car break-ins and car jacking. Lastly some of the maintenance are very lazy and inefficient. The leasing office aren’t really a big help either they just tell you “Call Resident Services.

I've been having problems with mice. The maintenance has been to my apartment several times putting down traps and plugging holes. This is not working. The mice are running rapped and getting in some kind of way. It's embarrassing for me to have company and they just come out running all over the place. They're rats running around on the property. I called the rental office last year and was told they can't control the rats running around outside. This is unacceptable. They expect tenants to live like this. You expect to be paid rent each month on time do something about the up keeping of these apartments. I have seen several complaints from other tenants about the rodent infestation apparently this is a problem. They need to figure out how to fix this.

This place is horrible they have a nice infestation in the snow and ice they will not shovel the walk ways or parking lot leaving to stuck and stranded the rental office dies nothing they refer you to Henderson web who also does nothing they got an exterminator to come to my house and all he did was leave sticky traps They have rats on the parking lot plumbing issues this is a nightmare do not do it!

I've lived in Wellington Gate since September 2020. It has not been a wonderful, nor comfortable home. It is a quiet complex and always clean on the outside, but on the inside I've had continuous issues with pests and rodents. Maintenance has not responded to fix any of my issues in a timely manner. This home has been a complete nightmare, and the management office has not been any help with fixing the infestation of roaches or mice.

I don’t know how they got 4 stars on here. My roommate and i are moving to different regions in MD but now we are stuck paying for a apartment we won’t even live in. We could no longer afford rent however they extended our lease for another year AND raised the price FOR THE SAME APARTMENT. Might I add that they never give notice to anything they do whether it’s extending the lease or checking detectors. They are unprofessional and DO NOT recommend anyone living unless you’re willing to be tricked out of your money.

Sure, the prices are cheap, but it’s not worth the horrible experience that is pretty much guaranteed. We have had countless encounters with mice. Heat won’t work when it comes to colder seasons and A/C won’t work when it comes to warmer seasons so you’re constantly calling maintenance to fix the system that never works. Every single tenant in the building is extremely loud through all hours of the night with screaming and loud music. We made a formal written complaint with the leasing office and 2 calls to the police and a formal written complaint with the police as well regarding the noise, and nothing ever changed. The other tenants smoke cigarettes both in their unit and in the stairways so it smells like cigarettes once you enter the building and their smoke alarms are constantly going off, adding to the noise. Also, the apartment has smelled like a gas leak from day one. Maintenance blames the ancient systems but nothing is done to fix it. Speaking of maintenance, it is illegal for them to enter the apartment without a 24 hour notice. They will send a notice that they are entering units to change filters the next day, but won’t come until later in the week, so it’s unpredictable when someone will be entering your unit. It has been hell living here and I would not recommend it to anyone. Do not lease at Wellington Gate or with Henderson Webb.

My family moved into a 2 bdrm here. First off we asked for the deluxe and they gave us a standard. Said they made a mistake and we would have to sign another lease. We didn’t and I’m regretting it. With the standard apts, the hallways to your apt is so small you will not be able to get any kind of big furniture in your house. A couch would not fit. A love seat wouldn’t either. Before we took our stuff back to the store we asked everyone in our building and no one has a couch. And lastly we are always running out of hot water in this building. At least twice a week in the morning wen wetake a shower the water turns cold after like 5 minutes. It’s ridiculous. Don’t move here.

First of all, the staff in the leasing office changes daily! They switch between the different properties. Whenever you need to handle something, you will more than likely deal with a different person each time! Some staff members are incompetent and under trained! One person will tell you one thing, and then someone else will tell you another. I was inconvenienced by these people FOUR times in one month. I transferred at the end of my lease to a bigger apartment, and let me tell you that experience was a nuisance. Every week they would call me with some new problem! The worse inconvenience was TWO days before I moved, I was informed that the apartment would not be ready! The apartment that I already had set up for my BGE and Comcast to transfer to! TWO days before I moved! TWO DAYS!!! At that point BGE and Comcast could not help me, I paid transfer fees for an apartment I wasn't even moving to. And the other apartment that they gave me, I would have to move in with no cable or power! IF you enjoy being stressed out and waisting money, then this is the place for you!!

I am so disappointed and frustrated with Henderson Webb as a whole specially the Wellington Gate Apartments. The customer service within this company is horrible to say the least. Eureka and the other lady in the leasing office is extremely unprofessional the whole establishment is unprofessional. I have been living in the Wellginton Gate apartments since April 2016 and I have has nothing but problems. As I have stated in a previous review every time it rained my roof leaked at it took over three months to have the roof fixed. It wasn’t foxed until after my son slipped in a puddle. No one from management reached out to me to apologize or even acknowledge the incident still to this day. My roof was cracked not only online in the living room but multiple places in kitchen and bedroom. The company came to fix the roof and just covered the cracks. I could see the roof itself was cracking and needed to be fixed not patched up, but of course it wasn’t. I sent a letter to management asking to be relocated early April, and I still haven’t heard anything. I stated in the letter that I feared the roof would eventually fall, but nothing, because resident safety is clearly not important. Also in my letter I explained that there is a mice infestation in my apartment. Droppings are everywhere no matter how much I bleach and clean. I pay MaidPro to clean my apartment. Even with professional cleaning I still have a serve mice problem. This place is literally a mice motel. Not to mention the ants and spiders. Every once and a while they sent out a exterminator who leaves the cheap mice traps and poison around the apartment. The exterminator always says they will be back in a week to do a second treatment they NEVER return. It’s ridiculous because the rent is not cheap especially for what you have to put up with. The customer service call center is a complete joke and those people are rude and clearly untrained. Every time I call I get the run around, or someone takes my information and promises to call back within an hour, and they never do! My apartment is not well ventilated. My room is either extremely cold (in the winter) or extremely hot (in the summer) regardless of what my thermostat on, and it’s ridiculous. I am transferring out of Wellington Gate and I am extremely dissatisfied. I would not recommend this place! If I’m paying my hard earned money I want to be treated with respect and I want my calls returned!

I live in this apartment now and will move out soon. The most horrible thing is that the wall is really really thin. Sometimes I heard neighbor’s snoring sound. And another neighbor play the music until 2am which makes me crazy. The maintenance are okay but slow. If I get the problem I have to wait at least a month and sometimes never solved. Really Not Recommend. Better to find other apartment with this price.

this complex is great. the common areas are well maintained and the costumer service is excellent. The staff members are helpful and nice to the tenants.

Let's just say my back was against the wall and I needed to move quickly into something affordable. The Positives living at Wellington Gate apartments I must admitt the complex is clean and very well kept. I really appreciate the fact there is on-site security. The surrounding neighborhoods aren't the best however, with the on-site security I felt a presence of security and safety. The complex is minutes away from major highways and shopping centers which was a plus! Now let's get to the good stuff!! The Negatives, the walls are paper thin someone lives above me and let's just say I'm extremely happy they don't have any children. I can literally clearly hear their conversation and any movement of any kind. During the summer I had a problem with my central air producing a file odor and my kitchen sink leaks water. The maintenance team are very inexperienced they wasn't able to fix the problems with my unit so needless to say I haven't had AC on hot days and I'm cleaning my kitchen floor daily. Overall my experience hasn't been bad. I have been living here for 9 months parking is amazing, NO RODENTS reasoning behind the 3 STARS rating and I just hated the fact not having wash and dryer!! I don't plan on renewing my lease and my advise to you reading this inquiring about Wellington Gate apartments, the price is very affordable and you definitely get what you pay for!

Wellington gate is a terrible place to live and I would not recommend it to anyone

This apartment is far most one of the greatest place you could live in Parkville. The people of wellington gates are really cozy people and are very kind. The area is very children friendly for people with kids. In all the apartment along with its surroundings are a magnificent place to be.

I love my apartment. I have three closets, big kitchen and a balcony. The rent is pretty cheap too. I live right on the bus route and next to a supermarket. I have never had problems with rodents either. I plan to stay here for awhile.

Could be higher class for 900 bucks. Maybe more space

Wellington gate has been by far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. The leasing staff is horrible and so is maintenance. Avery close friend of mine called and said she was locked out and they came and let her in my apt then after she went in got what she left they said we need ID. She's like I already have what I need and left. That could have been anybody!!!!

ive been living in this apartment going on two years and I really like it here! It's relatively small, but it's not studio size. I was able to get a unit with a renovated bathroom and kitchen so that was a major plus for me. One call to maintenance and they will be there within 2 hours, depending on the time you call. I called once about my kitchen sink and they came within 5 minutes. Another time I called about my central air, they came within the hour. Only thing I can say bad is the upkeep of the property during the winter months. The walkways are always ALWAYS icy! They lightly salt the property before a snowfall, then salt after the snow has frozen over and hardened. Other than that I have no complaints about my neighbors, vermin, or anything else.
