Longwood is a small, landlocked city right outside of Orlando. It’s mainly a residential community, with a significant portion of the population commuting to Orlando for work (The largest local employer, South Seminole Hospital, is located at the center of Longwood).
The schools in town earn excellent ratings, and the local attractions are exceptional: Big Tree Park is close at hand, providing access to one of Florida’s most beautiful natural landmarks; the close proximity to Orlando makes it easy for residents to reach some of the most popular tourist attractions in the nation; and of course, being Florida, the beach is only a short drive away.

Property Ratings at WaterVue at Longwood
Decent place, office is only open M, W, F. Due to staff also working at another location. Guest parking is extremely limited. Hallways are open to the outside so the ceilings are always covered in active spider webs. Haven't had any major issues just minor annoyances and inconveniences.
Terrible and incompetent leasing office staff. They never answer the phone and have very limited office hours so good luck trying to reach someone. They are refusing to refund me my $250 holding fee even though they basically denied my application…choose another complex that at least has a functioning leasing office…
Occasionally things "go wrong." But Ryan ALWAYS comes through with timely and skillful MAINtenance. So, he is one of the MAIN reasons I renewed for 2 years.
Walls are paper thin, good luck finding guest parking, office is never open, maintenance sucks, management are liars and stand offish made me believe everything was good at the end of my month to month term and charged me full month rent for a normal wear and tear on a lightbulb carpet cleaning when I had no carpet and kept my deposit. On top of me paying prorated rent of a week. Now will not answer my calls or reply to my emails. expensive go elsewhere.
The walls are paper thin so you can here everything that your neighbor does on all sides. I had to call AND email management to get my upstairs neighbor to stop playing their music so loudly. When I decided to move, they claimed that I didn't give them a 60 day notice, therefore I would have to pay them a full months rent (I gave them a 53 day notice, by the way). And I just got a letter from them claiming that I owe them for cleaning fees and not returning a parking decal sticker. It's cheap but not worth it.
