Property Ratings at Waterstone at Jenks
We had been happily living here for over one year before Michael hit. Like everywhere else, the apartments suffered significant damage, but the apartment staff had called for services even before the storm landed, so we were among the first in town to have crews onsite for cleanup and repair. Staff have been incredible, going above and beyond in working with everyone to do the best possible under the circumstances. Very much looking forward to seeing the property restored to its original condition and re-opened for leasing. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to be here (instead of at a less-caring property). Overall, the apartments themselves are nice. 2 Bedroom layout is great; our only nitpick is lack of towel storage area/cabinet in main bathroom, with no space to add shelves to make up for it. (There are cabinets under the sink we are using, but that's not ideal.)
Wonderful facility! The front desk staff is very friendly, some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. The entire place is very clean and well maintained. The apartments themselves are in very good condition, the floors look brand new. Everything looks very modern and works very well. The only problems we've had with the apartment have been handled amazingly! Our maintenance request was processed and fixed in less than 24 hours! The online website allows for residents to pay bills online, and put in maintenance requests. The website is very clean and easy to use. Overall extremely impressed by the Waterstone Apartment Complex.
My husband and I just moved in one of the apartments but we've been in contact with the staff for a few months prior the move. So far I can only say good things, they've always been so nice, friendly and attentive. When we got to the area they scheduled us for a tour of the apartment and all the amenities. They are always ready to help with a smile. All these seem small things, but when you move to a new place, where you don't know anything or anyone, these things start to mean a lot and they make the difference. The apartment is spacious, tall ceilings, big patio, quiet and well located, in fact, supermarkets and restaurants are only 5 minutes away. We are very happy with our choice!
Pros: -They are really as pet friendly as they advertise. No size limit on dogs, and one of the shortest restricted breeds lists I've seen. They don't just "allow" pets, they really work to accommodate them because a happy pet means a happy tenant. -The office staff is incredibly friendly and personable. When I went to pay my first month's rent, they already knew me by name and room number. Maintenance staff is always prompt and helpful. -The apartments are beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. In unit washer and dryer. Tons of storage space, including a large outdoor storage closet. Clean and well-kept grounds. Quiet, safe, and pleasant community -Lots of available services: reserved parking spots, at door trash pick up. They'll even screen in your patio or balcony if you wish. Cons: -Price. It is about $200/month more than similar properties nearby that actually offer more amenities. -They advertise a dog park and media/tech room. There actually is no dog park, and the media room only has a tv, no computers. Pool and fitness center are also a little on the small side. -Parking can be a bit limited during the peak of summer. -Not enough drawers! Tons of cabinet space, only 5 drawers in entire apartment!
These are very well made apartments and you can tell they were built within the past few years. It is situated in a nice part of town nothing in walking distance, but most shopping and restaurants are less than a 10 minute drive away. The master bedroom is quite large and has a vanity area built in outside of the bathroom which is really nice when you are trying to get ready the same time as your significant other is. Now for the bad, the size of the apartment does not match the price they are asking the monthly rent does include water though so keep that in mind. The trash compactor in the front of the property is completely full on a weekly basis and is often surrounded by the neighborhoods' trash bags. There is absolutely NO parking! If you are coming home anytime after 8 on a weekend you will be parking at the front of the very neighborhood and walking in the dark across the property. You get reserved parking spot for a monthly fee if you please.
The 1bedroom apts are great! Lots of storage space and large living spaces. The management is incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any requests. I was most impressed by the storage and space. I am also very happy with the neighbors. In my building anyway, we are mostly professionals. I am least impressed by the shower/bathroom. So much space but small tub and shower. Could be a better design and use of space there.
I've been working with the staff at Waterstone for over 6 months and they have been absolutely wonderful. Their patience and quality of service is outstanding, they've been attentive to my needs as I'm on a military schedule and they truly work for you to ensure you are completely taken care of.
My daughter and I went to view 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment today. I was very nice, very well laid out and roomy. The new office administrator was brilliant in the tour and so friendly(not fake). The residents were nice and friendly (not starring). Very nice grounds. Love it. Hopefully it can be our family future home! Take the tour it's worth the time!
Great place to call home. The staff here are really involved with giving residents the best experience possible. A safe and secure complex. Our pool is always beautiful and a great place to hang out and barbecue. The grounds are always neat and well maintained. Any issues you may have the staff is great at helping you. We have been here 3 years and really like the feel this place has. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a place. My utility bills are really a great price here. The maintenance staff are always quick to fix anything.
I have no Idea on the answers to most of those. All I did is view the apartment. I haven't the foggiest how the maintenance service is because I don't live there. I don't know what Amenities it has and probably wouldn't use them anyways being I am partially handicapped. I feel that the price of the apartments are way to high. And the non-refundable deposits are ridiculously high. There is a lot of traffic noise coming from the highway next to the apartments. But the staff that showed me the apartment was very nice.
I looked at many apartment complexes in the panama city and beach area and Waterstone is the absolute best. The staff members are very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this proprety to anyone looking for a great living environment
