Friendly but not so welcome. Car got towed the first day without letting us know there were reserved spot's. The good thing is no one bothers us.

I love living here ar Walnut. When I requested maintenance they’re alwaysfast and efficient. Admin staff is responsive in a timely manner and always responsive.

We have had really great experiences here. Most of our neighbors with the exception of one have been super friendly and amazing. We enjoy the amenities and our one and only maintenance problem was fixed in less than 24 hours. I am very happy with our decision to choose Walnut Grove!

Front desk staff is very helpful and courteous. Responses to my inquiries or trouble tickets have been prompt. The maintenance staff is very thorough.

Moved in. First office staff were rude and then fired. Nobody told us until new management company (TAM) moved in. They (office staff) are literally never in the office to help and the one maintenance guy that is here full-time (super nice)is run ragged trying to keep up by himself most days. Have a problem? Don't expect them to be in the office to help you, return your calls or emails. Yes, its THAT bad. They changed the payment portal twice (its still not fixed, you have to login through the Walnut Grove apartment site) and the second time a bunch of people almost got evicted because you could not pay online. You also could not pay by cash. Although since they were never in the office nor did they answer phones and return emails it didn't matter anyway. Now they have this "new" thing where they charge you for insurance. That's right. It is not in the lease but without telling anyone they started charged a $15 fee for not having insurance, even though every resident literally had to have it to even move in or renew. Office is no help and you get to contact the "insurance" company directly where they will tell you your very legal insurance that was good for the entire time you were a resident is no longer good and too bad. So now I pay insurance and am charged for "not" having insurance. The apartments are ok. They are pretty dirty and most people are sick due to AC not being cleaned. My apartment was filthy upon moving in and several neighbors had theirs reek of marijuana. Not commenting on using but the apartment did not bother to clean, shampoo or deoderize. Avoid TAM properties.

I moved back to Seguin after retiring from teaching for 25 years. I started my job here and loved the area. I moved away 15 years ago for a new opportunity in education and always intended to come back. When I retired I chose Walnut Grove for its centralized location and accessibility to emergency services. It was a nice place but was missing something. Then about 3 or 4 months ago we got new management and big changes. The new management came to play! They have really made a difference in the short time they’ve been in charge. The place is getting a great facelift from power cleaning the breezeways to improving the grounds and noticeably better maintenance.They are even making new areas for the tenant’s pets and cleaning up the parking areas. It’s a great indication of good things to come… I recently needed some help getting to my mail after major surgery and called the office to see if they might be able to recommend someone to help. The assistant manager,Nicole, didn’t even hesitate to volunteer her own time to haul about twenty pounds of mail down to my apartment and even offered to help bring it in. That helped me more than she could have known. They even accommodated my needs when it came to signing my new lease. Nicole and Michelle made it their personal mission to make it happen with electronic signature service for me. These are folks who make first rate service a norm not an exception. I look forward to what the new management has in store for the place. I originally chose this place for its reputation and amenities, which are outstanding. I don’t regret the decision at all! I would happily recommend it to my friends and others looking to relocate to a nice home near everything.
