North Canton is a small suburban city on the north side of Canton and about fifteen miles south of Akron. The majority of the city is covered by suburban neighborhoods, with the local rental market offering a healthy mix of affordable apartments and single-family homes.
Main Street is lined with small shopping centers, restaurants, and specialty shops as it passes through town, forming the commercial backbone of the city. North Canton is also home to Walsh University, a small, private institution in the east end of town. Akron-Canton Airport sits just northwest of town, making it an excellent location for frequent travelers.
