As its name implies, Central Davis offers a central location that attracts renters from all walks of life. Central Davis is located directly north of the University of California-Davis and Downtown Davis. Central Davis has several retail plazas with popular clothing brands, grocers, and restaurants, along with art galleries, trendy eateries, and boutiques in downtown. Residents enjoy going to neighborhood parks like Davis Community Park, which has an arts center, skate park, and more. A strong arts scene, frequent community events, and walkability also draw residents to the neighborhood. Central Davis truly has something for everyone with a variety of rentals available for rent including student apartments, condos, townhomes, and single-family houses.

Property Ratings at Wake Forest
This is probably one of the worst apartments in Davis. We have been here two years purely for the fact that we wanted to live close to campus. There has been 4 onsite managers since we moved here. They are completely unorganized and every time they transition to a new person they become even more unorganized. They have been doing construction on the place since we moved in (they keep hiring random cheap labor that ends up messing up the job which always results in them having to bring people back to fix more problems). The washer machines at this place is horrible, they ruin your clothes and take your money and the owner refuses to invest in new one's that do not just take coins (seriously what year is this). The rent has continued to increase at this place but it has gotten worse as time went on, you can definitely tell that the owner of this place cares more about pocketing their money instead of reinvesting it into the apartments. This is literally the worse place you can live in Davis so I would not recommend, don't waste your money!

We are sorry to hear that your experience has not been to your satisfaction. We have had a change in property management in order to keep the on-site manager consistent. There has been an upgrade to the laundry equipment and they are now card operated. If you are still a resident we hope that things are getting better. Thank you for the feedback.
The apartments are very old and have a cheap motel feel no matter how much you clean. Office is only open a few days a week and they are closed for lunch most of the day anyway. The only reason to live here is if it's important for you to be near campus and downtown.
