The Upper West Side (or the Upper Westside) refers to the northwestern portion of Atlanta situated between I-75 and I-285. The Upper West Side is brimming with an array of historic neighborhoods, including larger communities like Riverside, Bolton, and Whittier Mill Village. The region is also convenient to neighboring Vinings and Buckhead, which are both teeming with various area employers.
The Upper West Side is a region on the rise, with plenty of new development in the works in addition to community mainstays such as B’s Cracklin’ Barbeque and assorted breweries like Scofflaw Brewing Company, Atlanta Brewing Company, and Second Self Beer Company.
The community is also home to Whittier Mill Park, the former site of Whittier Cotton Mill offering historic ruins and scenic trails to explore alongside the Chattahoochee River. The Upper West Side’s convenient locale, growing amenities, and overall peaceful atmosphere makes it a top choice for renters in the Atlanta area.

Property Ratings at Vue at The Quarter
I'm not normally the type to write any reviews but I had a terrible experience here and still dealing with this place after being moved out for over two months. Rent is way too high for the apartment to be as dirty as it is. Guest parking is in the back lot but they do not enforce the guest parking at all. If you live at the first building but don't make it home by 6pm during the week you will have to park in the back lot because other residents will let their guests park closer to the buildings. I was there for 6 months and the staff had changed 2 times. I broke my lease, paid the balance in full and they sent me to collections. Currently I have called this complex 2 to 3 times everyday since I received my collections letter, to get ahold of anyone in the leasing office to discuss getting sent to collections and either no one picks up the phone or I am kept on hold. I was told the manager Britney was the only one that could assist me and to call back 3 days later when she would be in, so I did and she was no longer with the company. There is dog BM everywhere, there was once spilt cat litter/BM all in front of the entrance to building one and it sat there for 4 days before it was cleaned. They replaced my dryer and damaged the front door while doing so and then charged me for "front door damage". They have great specials to move in, which I got 6 weeks free but in my opinion it's not even worth it. Rent here should be half of what they charge. The only positive of this place is the location. Not to mention the staff here is not helpful at all.

Of course, you should be aware that water from the rain that washes nails, screws, and other objects in the parking lot is an ISSUE that should be addressed. There is a water drain close to front building where residents park One thing that can be done is to regularly collect the metal debris that is washed there. Other apartment complexes regularly use large magnetic devices to protect their residents from having to be Victims of ongoing flat tires and other road hazards that occur due to construction. Unfortunately, some companies are more concerned about making more money than maintaining safe facilities. For example, the huge piece of metal that residents have to drive across to enter and exit the complex. Do not expect any help or assistance with removing construction debris because you just have to drive at your own risk!
This was my first apartment and I have to say I am extremely disappointed with the managing office and the expectations they set when I signed my lease. First, keep in mind before you sign a lease here to consider there will be HEAVY construction around the complex for the next year or so, yet they are still charging the same prices as competitive buildings. The road to the building is narrow so it is a nuisance and it's already loud. They promise security but the gates are always broken so anyone can come in or out as they please. Not ideal for a woman living alone. The building is cheaply made. If you even bump your leg against a wall white powder falls all over you. Appliances regularly shut off, and if you put in a work request, they don't fix the issue. I have lost 2 fridges worth of food. They did a poor job designing the mail room and package system. Now we are being told we can't get furniture sent to the apartment, food preparation delivery services, and packages get lost all the time. They also fine us for our trash bins being left out while trash is regularly left outside of our apartments well past pick-up time or not picked up at all. When we signed our lease we were told parking was free to our guests. Now we have to log guests which is fine, but we only get 72 hours of guest parking a week, which means you can't have a visitor for more than 3 days. My grandmother had to find somewhere else to put her car when she came to visit for the last 2 days. Not to mention my car got booted on my way out for work even though I am registered. If you live in the first building and you get home anytime after 7, you have a 2% chance of finding a spot near your building unless you pay over $100 a month for a reserved spot (again, despite being told parking was free). They are CONSTANTLY finding new reasons to charge you and it's impossible to get them on the phone. The maintenance people around the building are nice, but the quality of people in the main office have went downhill.

I loved the apartment after touring so I put in my application immediately. With my current contracted employer I am on a 1099 so I don’t receive check stubs, I sent over everything required in this case. Statements to prove I make over 3x the rent, the offer letter from my employer with my rate, and my 737 credit score. I still was denied! I spoke with a gentleman from ApproveShield he stated the apt wanted more than originally asked, which was 2 previous 1040 tax returns. Tax returns from last year during a pandemic when half of the country was not working? It’s absurd, like they didn’t want me to live there. I have a completely new job with a new salary, I just don’t understand. This would have been my first apartment after graduating, working hard, saving properly and boosting my credit but for whatever reason they won’t accept me. They didn’t even care. I’m very hurt and bothered by this.

I've bounced around a few complexes in Atlanta and The Vue is by far my favorite. My apartment is very spacious, the team is amazing to work with and the resident events are so much fun. 10/10 would recommend!
