The cities of Livermore, Dublin and Pleasanton form a loosely shaped triangle within California's Tri-Valley region, a cluster of three small valleys about 33 miles east of San Francisco and 35 miles northeast of San Jose. Known for its Mediterranean climate, rolling hills and historic vineyards, this once bucolic region now boasts three separate downtown areas, a bustling business community and some of the best wineries in the state.

At the eastern end of the region lies the city of Livermore. I have lived here since 2021. Back then Greystar owned the complex. The price was very reasonable for what you get. Ever since Brookfield took over, it's been a nightmare. They send emails none-stop and will raise your rent 40% and will not negotiate. I showed them a different complex in the area with the same amenities for way less and they just responded with "what we're charging is the going rate" when it's definitely not. 40% is an insane increase. DO NOT MOVE HERE. The management team will hassle you with stupid emails, will not negotiate and you will not be treated well. Go somewhere else. Somewhere cheaper. This place doesn't even have an elevator and the trash rooms are far

Not Worth The Cost

This complex is new, but not being maintained by the new property management company. A gate closer has been broken for months and now the building wall is damaged, yet nothing has been done. The garbage also overfills often and I have seen rats on the property as a result. Overall the place is new which is nice, but not worth the cost.

New ownership ruining things

They are raising rents over 20% for loyal tenants. Garbage rooms are a mess. Took away our cabanas by the pool. Dog poop everywhere even though they are supposed to have a system where they swab all dogs so they can fine whoever is leaving dog poop. Utilities bill goes from $17 to 160 between months for God knows why. I was so excited to live here but this new management is a buzz kill for everyone.

To find a place like this in Pleasanton is a huge deal. The amenities, the apartments and the staff make for an incredible sense of security and pride to live here. The people that are drawn to a place like this liven up the weeks at the dog park or bottle taps. Sometimes I wish I vintage was 100x bigger because everyone would live here if they tried it for a month.

If you're looking for an apartment, I highly recommend this one

We have been here three months now and are very impressed. The maintenance staff is fantastic. Any time we have an issue, they are quick to respond and have fixed every issue we've had within a day or two. The property is always clean and well maintained. The BBQ court yards are always clean and well maintained. The Vintage Apartment App is great as well. This place if very dog friendly and there are always refuse bags to pick up after your dog. The bark park is great. Lots of amenities, including a dog washing station. Well worth your consideration if you're looking for an apartment.

vintage has provided me with a very comfortable living experience for the past 14 months. they are pet friendly and are prompt and helpful with any problems that arise. i feel very safe living in this community, the grounds are quietly patroled at night, and there is underground covered parking to protect vehicles from theft and vandalism. the rental fees are a bit expensive, but you do get what you pay for. because of the pandemic that has slowed our economy, i hope that vintage will adjust the price of my rent in my favor when it's time to renew my lease. there are other apartment communities in this area with lower rental costs but, as stated, you do get what you pay for and vintage, overall, has a lot to offer a prosepctive resident.

I saw 3 rats last week On the amenities but they can only do something if the rat is on the apartments or garages. This is our fourth year in the community and the previous were much better than the last one. Windows used to be cleaned once a year, now they haven't been cleaned for more than a year and according to the management it might happen only in 2021. People keep smoking marijuana, for more than two months my apartments has been filled with the stench every night. The management keeps promising to sort it out. The pool time has been reduced to an hour without any notice. Local gyms have been allowed to open with a small capacity, but our gym, yoga room are still unavailable. Grills are also closed, even though there never were many people around them. What we have on the bright side is a good location close to a park, cleanliness, a nice neighborhood and a perfect maintenance team. The management is friendly, but the issues above stay unresolved.

Worst management

We had an appointment to view Vintage apartments at a set and confirmed time. When we arrived at their leasing office there was a notice there that all the staff members had gone for a retail event across the community and wont be available from 12-3pm. Ridiculous behavior where you confirm an appointment for a future resident during that time. Complete waste of time for people who are genuinely looking for apartments. Just imagine without our money at hold, without a lease this is how Vintage apartments behaved. I am now highly doubtful that it wont take much for them to buy out these other 4-5 star ratings. People who are serious about social distancing during COVID time - please don’t even bother to waste your time here. There was not a single person with a mask in the entire community and across that retail store where apparently was the “EVENT DURING COVID”. A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME for genuine people looking for good homes. Calls don’t even go to the leasing office it goes to some central office and from there they say that we will ask local office to call you and confirm the appointment. We had called 2 days prior to our appointment to confirm if we were yet on their scheduled tour. They said oh yes. When we reach there you are just lost with no one to assist you in their complex. Are you guys even serious???? Seriously if you are not bothered to rent , please don’t waste people’s time who are looking for a place they can call home. I would give 0 stars if there was an option. I traveled 40miles just thinking this might be a great community but honestly your behavior and community is not even comparable to other apartments that are providing customer service even during this time of the COVID year.

Nice property (was before closing the amenities), but extremely poorly managed and overpriced. Since COVID restrictions, the management distanced themselves from tenants and is not involved in community life. Nobody in the leasing office picks up the phone or responses to emails. They simply closed all amenities without any attempt to try to establish a relevant safety procedures so the tenants can keep using them with limited capacity and disinfecting. The maintenance is limited to an extend of keeping the property afloat, but nothing is done in terms of good customer service - windows havent been cleaned for 2 years, restrooms in common areas are closed, security concerns are simply ignored.

While the presentation and outward appearance of the Vintage lends one to think they will be a valued member of a community, the management, or lack there of, has painted a different picture for my wife and I. We were very happy to have found a rental, that while more expensive than some others, offered some great amenities and a very beautiful setting. Less than a year later, I cannot say I would recommend the Vintage to any family or friends. The way in which Greystar management has failed to communicate properly with its residents, and especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, shows that Greystar does NOT obide by its Mission Statement. While the shutdown of amenities was forced upon Greystar by the State and County, Greystar has chosen to completely ignore and disregard the voice of the residents who have been affected by these long term loss of amenities. While not specifically part of the rent residents pay, they are in fact a part of the overall cost we pay to live here. Greystar would rather hide behind its legal reasoning then be proactive and help residents out with a discount or other means of making up for the loss of these valuable amenities. As residents, we have sacrificed a lot to be able to continue to pay our rent and stay living here.

Clean and relatively new apartment in Pleasanton. You have to afford expensive rent while there is no security at night. Not many guest parking places and the residents should pay for outside parking.
