Vines at Stony Brook

I cant wait to move especially due to the manager someone tried to break into a car right in front of me as I was looking out the window its dirty and the big dumpster is always filled and smells there's homeless right next door that frequent the walkways to get to the stores

Do not move in-- common hallways never cleaned. trash strewn over grounds, never picked up. Bags of garbage accumulate at dumpsters b/c lids too heavy to lift. Frequent car break-ins, even entire car wheels stolen. Maintenance requests ignored, major repairs left half-finished. Frequent unannounced visits. Smells bad everywhere.

Office changes policy, staff, and management continuously. Mischarges on bills are common. Trash is terrible here; the other residents do not care. Lots of pot smoking and drug dealing, in the 12 months I was there, there were 3 shootings. Everybody has a pit bull.

Very nice and clean apartments and townhouses. My townhouses was very clean and the carpets were redone before I moved in. The apartment manager Angela is very helpful and makes sure things are done in a timely manner. I haven't really had any issues since I've moved in and have also recommended this place to many people.

These apartments are horrible! The units look nothing like the pictures, everything is not up to date. The baseboards, walls, door frames, mirrors etc look horrible or need to be fixed or completely replaced. Maintenance doesn’t fix anything! They enter your apartment without permission even when you tell them you would not like anyone to enter without your permission. The staff in the rent office is VERY rude. Their is a new Landlord/ Manager every other month. Since I’ve lived her for a year there has been 5 different Landlords literally not even lying. Also they add extra charges to your rent every month the rent is different. The rent is NOT WORTH what they offer you here. Please listen to me when I tell you these apartments are literally terrible !!!!!!

The apartments are very spacious and the office staff very friendly and helpful!

The new managers in the office with Elon management are very helpful. I was looking at apartments for my mom. They did everything they could to find my mom an apartment and were very patient. Thank you Connie and Ashley.

The apartments are very quaint with good space. The staff if very helpful, friendly, and always there when needed. Good area of town, close to everything you would need. I would recommend this complex!

I have been living at Stony Brook for two years now and the new management company is a great improvement. Maintenance is now responsive and the office staff are the best. I highly recommend the complex.
