Worse place to live you can have ur car in ur name ur name on the lease an insurance in ur name an they still tow IT WORST PLACE TO LIVE THEY WILL EVEN TOW UR CAR ON THE DAY OF COURT
Great ,quite place to live , reasonable priced rent ,Close to 95 and turnpike. Recently HOA start doing more improvement : putting a new gate and painting gate . Cat and dog allowed . Pretty view from the balcony .
I lived in this community for 5 Years. I was lucky enough to rent from a private owner so I really haven’t had to deal with board members or association very much however my experience with them hasn’t been the best. The association acts as if they do so much for the community but they focus on the wrong things. Get prepared to get a new sticker for your car every 6 months for parking, every letter from the association is written in caps with a million exclamation points like they’re yelling at you. The most frustrating part about the community is the call box. There is 1 call box for both gates, and the call box works when it wants to. I had a medical emergency and it took an ambulance 10 minutes to get to me because they couldn’t get through the gate. The EMT said he was at the gate for about 6 min trying to get through. Food delivery and ordering an Uber or lyft is always a challenge because they always have a hard time with the call box and aside from that, the buildings are not in alphabetical order or clearly marked with their building letters so visitors always have a hard time finding your building and unit. The mail person always mixes up the mail so I end up with neighbors correspondence and vice versa. I have complained to the postal service because of this. One of the worse things about this community is the division between renters and owners. Owners on the property feel entitled are are very condescending and rude to renters. Being that they are allowed to be in the board, they make petty and false accusations about the renters in efforts to make their rental period short and miserable. I’ve seen a lot of people come and go in the 5 years I’ve lived here due to this. The community claims to have security however their security guard is paid only to come in the middle of the night and check for cars that are parked without permits and report them to the tow company. Other than that you never see the security guard. This community loses power if someone slams the door too hard. Every hurricane prepare to be without light for at least 3/4 days. There’s a lot of improvement needed in this community however it does have its pros. The units are very spacious and the rent rate is not bad compared to other communities in the area. The community is very nice, and very well maintained. There’s a lot of wild life (ducks, iguanas, turtles, raccoons) and the lakeview is very zen.
1ST OFF, THIS IS NOT A RENTAL COMMUNITY!!! THIS IS A CONDO WITH VERY STRICT RULES!!! THEY PAY ATTENTION TO EVERYTHING YOU DO!!! I THREW BREAD TO THE DUCKS DOWN BELLOW AND GOT A WARNING NOT TO THROW ANYTHING FROM MY 2ND STORY PATIO!!! PARKING IS STRICT AS WELL, AND NO MOTORCYCLES ALLOWED!! NOT TO MENTION UP FRONT YOU ARE ON CAMERA ALLLLLL THE TIME. POOL AND AMENTIES ARE GREAT FOR OLDER PEOPLE. I MOVED OUT AFTER 7 MONTHS....TOO MUCH POLICING AND PATROLING.
It is an excellent place to live, there is no crime, very private and clean, most of the neighbors are very friendly and there is always a lot of security by the fort lauderdale police, I really feel very safe and comfortable.
My boyfriend and I were so excited to move into this beautiful location but that ended literally the first night. The HOA is not as active as they pretend to be. Packages are stolen, vehicles are broken into, condos are vandalized, and so far the HOA has done nothing. They have signs posted stating that cameras are in use but we found out that was a lie. There's A LOT OF CRIME for a gated community. It's ridiculous. We will not be renewing our lease.
