The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Village Park
If you can rent from anywhere else, I'd highly recommend it. If you look at any of the positive reviews they are all about the application process and not living here. We have been fighting them over fixing the ac since we moved in. During the day with it running on cool, the lowest it gets is around 78-82. The office believes this is acceptable. The barely working ac ran the electric bill to nearly $300 and even at night it can barely get to 70 degrees. The apartment opened a large hole in a bathroom and left it that way for a month. Also, a bonus be prepared for around 4-6 threatening emails every single day, that are just "community reminders".
We went on a tour 5/18. The lady told us she let a lizard in the apartment the day before. As we walked around most of the baseboards were missing and there were spiders in every room. The bathroom rug was filthy and had some stains. The cupboard under the sink was dirty.
This is the worst place to rent, please run away! Don't rent with them. The apartments are old, the A/C doesn't work, they never fix anything. The staff office are rude. Once you move out of this awful apartment complex, they'll do a bad credit report, don't matter if you've done everything right.
The pictures on the website are very misleading. I got approved and went to go take a tour and the complex is very dirty and unmaintained. Very unsafe area. The unit itself was very small compared to the square footage on the website. There is a lot of trash everywhere. The units have rat/roach infestations and little to no security. Management is also very difficult to get in touch with. Don't waste your money on applying to the place. Spread the word!!!
I got tricked into renting this apartment. They told me the model home is what I’d be getting except the appliances wouldn’t be updated and the layout might be different. Lies…I got a roach infested apartment and nothing was cleaned prior to moving in. The staff is rude and their maintenance sucks. It seems like they hire people that have no prior experience or knowledge on anything. They don’t give you notices on when they’re coming for anything and the apartment complex itself is dirty and run down. They charge you for any trash in ur hallway or patios but there is trash all over the place. Definitely not worth the money.
ZERO STARS FOR LEASING STAFF. I was trying to reach them from 03/12/22 to look for the apartment or to discuss. i have being told on 04/20/22 i will get a virtual tour for this apartment. And when I called on 04/20/22 I have been sending a link to see the virtual tour to look a video. Just 35 days waiting to send the video tour link which was pre-recorded. And when I tried conveying this message to the leasing office, they can't understand me they said. And to show that they really don't repeating their own number and trying to make a fool out of me.
If you have the option to move somewhere else, do it. The Village Park ad is very misleading. Nothing like the reality. These apartments are old and falling apart. The premises are dirty and the apartments full of cockroaches. As soon as I can I am moving out even if it means paying 2 months rent to break the lease, it will be well worth it.
Please please don't move in here. My husband and I almost made the mistake moving in. As soon as we about to walk into the office, a resident said "RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN" we did a walk through and although we did love the floor plan everything was just atrocious. How much they want for these apartments for how it is, is ridiculous.
I've lived here for 2 years and i'm on the middle floor. Not a single issue in the beginning, going into my second year I had very inconsiderate neighbors to move in above me it sounded like tag-team wrestling to add insult they caused flooding in my apartment. Maintenance took forever to completely address my stained and mildew ceiling but that's beside the point! I kindly spoke to neighbors and it seemed to get worse.Spoke to management even presented audio of how bad it is even at 3 am however nothing changed. I prayed and those neighbors moved out and there was about a month peace before new neighbors moved in and the cycle began all over including a yup! a minor flooding situation and the maintenance saga! I didn't bother management this time because, why? I am a very light sleeper but I've come to realize that some noise is to be expected so I have been just dealing with it. So this morning I received a knock on my door at 630AM!!! with I just moved in 2 mos. ago and I know what time you get up, take a shower, etc. etc. I explained that I am not exercising, running, stomping, rushing..just getting ready for work. So I am mindful of people underneath and I treat people as I want to be treated. Outside of moving we are in stacked, old apartments and all that I can say is welcome to the neighborhood! Feel free to complain as I have. #UntilICanMoveOnUp
First they told me one price then after I sign the lease the told me a different price. After that I had so many issue with the office people and the maintenance as well. The apartment is not well taken care of and even tho its has new carpet roaches come out. Also the trash is absolutely crazy and all over the complex. Drug dealers every where and people making loud noises with their cars. Cops here all the time for a fight or argument.
I got robbed at gunpoint in this neighborhood & I didnt even live there. There’s not enough lighting & no security at all whatsoever, whoever is managing these properties does not care for the safety of their residents. GET SECURITY & MORE LIGHTING
Terrible place to live! Maintenance fails at fixing anything.
I live here and its horrible. Maintenance is crappy they dont actually fix the problem. Then when they find out how much you make they raise the rent. Parking!! Omg people fighting over parking spots. And not only that they tow your car when its not parked right. Bathrooms horrible. The last time we called for maintenace because the master bedroom got flooded they didnt do nothing knowing that that kind of work needs remodeling i wouldnt recommend living here at all to no one
Low budget apartments. Lived here 2 years and the apartments are get outdated and not maintained. Upon moving in the kitchen counters are paint which tells you a little about the budget that The property gives towards its units. I have a list of work orders dating back two years for the air conditioner unit that would leak water onto the floors and freeze every 3-4 weeks which caused mold in the closet. ( I have pictures if anyone would love to see ) They do not put any money into serious problems. As far as minor jobs they are fixed almost as soon as you put the order in. The grounds are a joke , trash piles up mountain high because the residents are inconsiderate slobs. My advice is stay clear of this property. The office staff don't care about you personally your just a number to fill a space. The entire staff has left but one person which tells you a little about the property , run down and beat. my apartment was kept clean and I was charged for counter tops being damaged. Here's some words of advice to the staff , when you clean countertops that have spray paint the spray paint wears down to the original layers. I am just glad I'm out of their. The deposit is least of my worries. Anyone looking into this place , RUN. Look into village lakes or springs , pay a little more for quality if interested in apartments in same area.
It's nice, it's the first one I've had on my own so it's great to kinda feel like I own something. Has a nice balcony, i sit out there a lot n take in the weather.the pool is nice. They have a nice lake across the street, I bike ride along it a lot. the area it's around is between a good area n a bad one. The closet is nice n big I like that, holds a lot of space, they have a nook on the deck kinda like a closet which is nice. The layout is nice, wish it was bigger. The management is ok, Could be better.but when I need maintenance done they are pretty good with it getting it done if something breaks down, needs to be replaced. I have lived here for two years.
I've been at Village Park Apartments for a year and a half now and i am happy with it. They are very dog friendly and there aren't too many restrictions. I have a schnauzer mix but i have seen Mastiffs, Pit Bulls and Great Danes living here happily with their families. We have a small fenced in dog park that's great for letting my dog run off leash. There is also a new play ground for the kids. We are under new management and it shows. The entire complex is being freshly painted, new white metal railing for the stairs and patio's, new laundry machines in the laundry room that accept credit cards so you don't need cash or a special card to wash your clothes, and a new pest control service that shows up quick and takes care of the problem fast. All and all its a nice place to live, its hard to find a reasonable apartment that is also dog friendly. I'm very likely to renew my lease for another year.

At Village Park Apartments there are some so-so good things and quite a few bad things. The good things. People tend to keep to themselves and maintenance does it's best to keep the community maintained. Now for the bad things. There is a huge pest control problem. A lot of ants, spiders, and lizards somehow make their way inside your apartment. No matter how many times you request pest control it doesn't do enough. Also, the area is not the best. Quite a bit of crime around the complex. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone.
