The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Village Park at Paladin
These apartments are really nice and the people in the office are very helpful and nice. Maintenance is requested and are done in the next couple of hours. The other residents are so nice and always speak to you when you see them. What i love the best about the apartments that it is very spacey and on bad weather days the snow is plowed before you have to leave for the day. everyone is always very helpful. It is worth every penny living here.
This place is good from the outside and they will tell you anything in order for you to sign the lease. However, once in, nothing is as it seems. The appliances are cheap and break down consistently. It also takes weeks for the leasing office to pass on your service request to maintenance. Then when you call to get an update, they act like you are bugging them...hello, just a reminder that no one is doing me a favor because I pay rent and on time at that! I'm sure the rent the tenants pay each month is funding your salaries so stop being lazy and take care of your tenants.
I have also lived here since the complex opened. It is true that the quality of living has gone down significantly with the new management. Complaints are not addressed. New management is not willing to enforce rules and regulations. Tenants are now forced to suffer noise and other lease violations. The complex is no longer kept as clean as cigarette butts and dog feces are littered all over the grounds. People disobey traffic signs with no consequences. It is not worth the high cost of rent to live here.
We've lived here since open. The first few years, everything was excellent, no complaints. However, within the past six months there has been turnover in the leasing office. This has led to phones not being answered, complaints not being taken care of, and nobody being available during the posted office hours. This has been extremely disappointing. Additionally, there has been an uptick in younger/college aged neighbors who consistently bring the "family friendly environment" down. Parties on Saturday nights, young kids on porches yelling, loud music blaring until 3am. This does not work for us. 4/6 of my neighbors have moved within the last two months and we are looking to do the same. Working professionals/families should STEER CLEAR.
I have lived at Village Park at Paladin for 3 years. The complex is clean, quiet and parking is always available. What I love most is that when it snows, the parking lot is plowed and your patio is cleaned for you too! My 3 year-old shovel has never touched snow. Maintenance is very prompt too. No complaints...it's worth every penny to live here.
Having never lived there, this review is seen only from a look-see rental possibility. The location is fair being near Governor Printz and 495. The value is competitive in that it is new construction. Many other place available in this area are older--some with renovations and some with "semi-renovation" (an appliance, flooring). Therefore, the apartments are well equipped and modern. The office staff is awful. They post their hours on the door and online as daily for certain hours and yet they are not there nor do they respond to emails.
I moved in September of 2013, and it has been a great place to live. The apartment is brand new, and in great shape. Plenty of parking available. The office staff is very friendly, although there was some difficulty reaching them in the early process of researching the complex. Sergio, the maintenance man, has always been friendly and fairly prompt with his service. The clubhouse, despite some older equipment, has been great. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose this place in a heartbeat. Compared to similarly priced apartments in the area, this complex is a great deal.
I lived in Texas and relocated to Wilmington, so was not able to see the apartment. I communicated with the apartment manger a lot and she was extremely helpful. When we arrived the apartment was beautiful. When we finally met the apartment manager she was very helpful in answering any questions about the area. We also met the maintenance man who is very nice. The amenities are good. A inside and outside pool, gym..... We truly enjoy the apartment with new quality appliances, gas fireplace, sufficient storage.
The neighborhood is mixed and everyone seems to blend well. A great community and office staff.
