Village of Amesbury

Amesbury is a great place to live! You can walk throughout the community and the property is surrounded by protected woodlands. There are hiking trails that are accessible from the community and everyone is nice. Beth, the property manager, is attentive and helpful. Any time maintenance is needed they come immediately. My home required plumbing work and the problem was fixed immediately. While you can sometimes hear your neighbors you may share a wall with, overall it is quiet and peaceful. I would recommend Amesbury to anyone.

I moved into Village of Amesbury four years ago. I love it here. It's a country-like setting but ten minutes from everything I need in terms of shopping. Quiet and peaceful. Neighbors are very friendly. I especially appreciate Beth, the leasing manager, and Darwin, our maintenance man. They are both professional, courteous, and always helpful. I've lived in some places where it was impossible to get a response from a manager or maintenance. This is not one of those places. The property is well-managed and kept clean and landscaped. I'm very happy here and hope to stay for a long time.

We lived in Amesbury for 2 years, we had no idea about aircraft noise until we moved in, it's so disturbing that weak you up at night and bothers you day time, they do not also provide you with gas bill and charged you a lot of money for your monthly gas and when you move out charged you thousands of dollars ,

Please have an attorney read the lease prior to signing. We had to break the lease 3 months early and even though we gave 70 days notice and they re-rented the apartment immediately, we were still held to pay $5400 and they kept our deposit even though I left it spotless. Aside from that they are small and poor quality construction.

Loved our apartment until the May, when the A/C started to die. Put in work orders, sure A/C techs would come out but each time told us it is working fine, put a little refrigerant in it and leave. Each time nothing would improve and would put another work order in, same techs come out and again tell us the system is working fine. Yet with system set at 70 degrees our home is 75 to 79 degrees. Then finally they state they are going to replace the whole thing, yet a week has gone by, A/C has now fully died, and no word from them when/if we are getting fixed and/or replaced. If you like sweat boxes for a home this is the place for you.

My wife, daughter, and I just moved into this community. The home is beautiful and spacious. The community is clean, quiet, and full of friendly people. I had 2 very minor maintenance requests. I sent them late in the evening, and maintenance arrived early the next morning.
